Amazing place to stay, totally relaxing and spectacular environment with fantastic dining options to cater all needs.
All of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them.
Great food throughout the restaurants, particularly great experience at the teppanyaki table where the chef was amazing!

My stay at the hotel and location is excellent, and I have no complaints. The staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. However, I do have two suggestion—elevators should be available throughout the property to better accommodate guests with disabilities or limited mobility. Secondly, staff transportation accommodation should be available, especially for those who work late shifts. The monkey trails should not be their primary access point to the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at Centara Grand in Krabi! The resort was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking scenery that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the most unique aspects was that it’s only accessible by boat, which gave it an exclusive and secluded feel—perfect for a peaceful escape.
We stayed in an oceanfront villa, and it was fabulous! The room was spacious and well-appointed, and we especially loved the private plunge pool. A special touch that meant a lot to us was the lovely honeymoon decoration they left for us—such a thoughtful gesture!
While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. We requested someone to check our mini fridge a few times, and though we were told someone would come, no one ever did. Additionally, the restaurant service was a bit slow—we often had to flag down the waitress to get our tab, as we weren’t checked on regularly.
That said, the beauty of the resort, the exclusivity, and the luxurious accommodations far outweighed these small issues. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning and tranquil getaway in Thailand!

The property provides complimentary scheduled boat transfers from Nopparatthara Pier (Mainland) every hour starting from 7:30 AM until 11:30 PM, and from the resort every hour starting from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM. Guests should be at the pier at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Guests who require different departure times may book private speed boat transfers (surcharge). To arrange transfers, please contact the property using the information on the reservation confirmation received after booking.

The property is in a beautiful location but it is certainly dated in terms of the rooms and amenities and does not live up to its 5 star rating either in amenities or sadly the service despite the best attempts of some of the staff . My Visit was not helped by bout of food poisoning at one of the restaurants - an experience I understand was shared by another guest around the same time . Could deal with the rustic charm if the basics had been done right but unfortunately they were not .

Private beach is beautiful, but hotel rooms and facilities are poorly maintained - Website images are clearly very outdated.
Room was dusty and had a strange smell. Door connecting my room to the adjacent room had a broken lock, meaning other guests could easily access my room.
Complimentary shuttle boat was schedule was unreliable, meaning long waiting times to check in and check out or paying a 1600 BHT for a private long boat.
Front desk staff were also incredibly rude when concerns were raised, and constantly trying to get you to pay more money for things that were either complimentary or had already been booked and paid for. Booked an airport transfer with the front desk, they claimed they didn’t have a booking from me and I was forced to pay again for private taxi so that I wouldn’t miss my flight.
Would not recommend, not worth the money at all.

Our experience at this property has been a mix of great location and friendly service, but with a few challenges along the way.
Check-in had a bit of a hiccup. We had booked a king room but were initially assigned a double-double instead. After some discussion with the front desk, they confirmed our reservation was indeed for a king room. While none were available at first, they worked to find a solution and eventually moved us. They even considered it an upgrade, as this room included a jacuzzi on the balcony. Though it felt a bit smaller than our original room, we appreciated their effort to accommodate us.
Unfortunately, this room had issues with the restroom flush, so we had to be moved again. Thankfully, the new room was really nice, with amazing views that made up for the inconvenience.
The property itself has a charming feel, but it’s very outdated and in need of serious maintenance.
That being said, the location is absolutely stunning, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent, though not exceptional.
Overall, the beautiful surroundings and welcoming staff give this place a lot of potential. With some much-needed updates and better upkeep, it could be a fantastic experience.

Sadly we booked a non-refundable hotel stay and they don't tell you up front that their property is only accessible by boat or you need to hike over a hill with stairs to the town. When it's super hot and humid - it was incredibly uncomfortable.
What good about this property:
1. The location is super beautiful. You will see monkeys.
2. If you don't want to go anywhere else, you don't have to due to the amenities.
3. The food is pretty good. I think we enjoyed every meal there.

Now for the bad things:
1. If you enjoy exploring the nearby towns when you travel and don't like hiking in 92F with high humidity for 20-25 to get there - you won't like this place. The path was very crowded at times. People who don't stay at the resort walk over the path to stay at the beach. When they all leave after the sun sets - the resort is much more pleasant.
2. The service is not 5 star. No turn down service and at breakfast you have to seat yourself which can be a bit crazy since the tables aren't cleared quickly so you don't which ones are open.
3. The beds are very hard
4. Toilets didn't flush well
5. Shower temp was not consistent. It fluctuated from hot to cold 5 times in 5 minutes
6. Food is expensive - same price as California
7.the AC seems set at one very cold temperature so we had to keep shutting it off to manage it.
8. Rooms aren't sound resistant - the workers talking in the path outside our room woke us up.
9. no black out shades.

The location was beautiful, truly stunning beach and lush tropical jungle all around, but the resort itself was not in good condition. I booked due to its 5 star rating and it was more like a 3 or 4 star hotel as far as the facilities and rooms go. Things were shabby and in ill repair, some things in our room were falling apart on arrival like the blinds a the sliding glass door nearly fell off. We still had a nice time but definitely felt misled by the rating and paid too much for the over-all quality of the place.

Room was filthy on arrival- years of neglect and not being maintained properly. Had to ask for sheets to be changed and as deep clean (which was minimal). Towels and drinks not replenished daily, despite being in a club room. Not enough staff in restaurants. Breakfast- limited choice, food not labelled, cross contamination of serving utensils. The hotel changed the tone of our outward boat shuttle without telling us causing issues with our flight. Staff seem unhappy and service is below par compared to usual Thai hospitality. Would not stay here again

Las fotos no son la realidad… la comida es muy cara. Comunicarse con el personal es complicado. El transporte es un tema, no nos recogieron en el aeropuerto por más de que avisamos y apartamos uno. Si tienes alguna enmergencia médica por la noche será un problema ya que tendrás que caminar tú mismo por un sendero durante media hora para ser atendido en una farmacia. El hotel brinda 0 ayuda con medicamentos, no hay doctor… el hotel está viejo… la comida si es muy buena pero muy cara…
