About Tha Sala District accommodation
Tha Sala is a district in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, southern Thailand — a quiet, mostly agricultural area known for rubber, coconut and fruit orchards (durian, mangosteen, rambutan) alongside small fishing villages along the coast. It's genuinely not a mainstream tourist destination, but it does have a handful of real, low-key draws: Sunantha Waterfall, a three-tier waterfall in Taling Chan subdistrict; the low-development local beaches around Pakdoud and Ban Pak Nam Pak Duat; and Wat Yang Yai, a locally significant temple. Tha Sala suits travellers passing through toward Khanom or Sichon, or with a specific reason to be in the area, more than those seeking a headline beach destination.
Where to Stay in Tha Sala District
TASALA cabana and Reboot Retreat both offer a quiet, low-key base in the district. Villa Kani Resort & Restaurant is a comfortable option near Tha Khuen, while Tharadol Beach Resort sits closer to the coast near Pakdoud Beach.
