We stayed for 3 nights and would have been happy to stay longer. Our room was excellent with everything we needed. There was plenty of choice for food in the restaurant, where we ate each night. The swimming pool was a great place to spend time at the end of a day out. Sia the manager was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. I can highly recommend the Hotel Khao Sok and Spa.

We loved staying here (despite having a few downpours!). Room was great and in very good condition. Staff were lovely. We went out on a few trips and they provided towels and water proof bags. Good service in the restaurant too. Hotel is a little way out of the village so you will need transport but they do have a shuttle running a few times a day. Entrance to the National Park is in the village. I do recommend that you stay here if visiting this area.

Really lovely hotel, great room which was very modern and clean, staff were amazing and even made us a packed breakfast as we were leaving at 6am. Can walk to the park from the hotel, or use one of the three free shuttles each day. Would definitely return.

We stayed 3 nights here. The staff were fantastic - very helpful and kind. All of the suppers we ate there were great. Loved the Phad Se Eiw. It was about a 25 minute walk to the closest village and they provide a ride to the village 3 times each day (if you don’t want to walk back it costs 50B to take a taxi). The bungalows were private and comfortable.

The facility itself is very nice - clean, comfortable rooms with lots of space and well laid out, landscaping that sets you up for the Khao Sok experience, and excellent meals in the open air restaurant, complete with koi pond! The staff are what sets this property above and beyond pretty much every other hotel I have stayed at. They were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. When faced with a sick family member on site, the hosts and staff went above and beyond making sure she was comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and experiencing the friendliness for which Thailand is famous!

Firstly the staff here are extremely friendly, helpful and have good English. They learned our names quickly (2 adults 2 kids) and our children loved them immediately and miss them already. The rooms are a little dark but as mentioned in previous reviews, you are in the jungle and anything else would seem odd so this goes well with the environment. Our rooms were very clean, tidy and well maintained with fresh smelling sheets making it very comfortable. There is air con, free standing fans and a very cold fridge stocked with water everyday. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The key to this place however is twofold. The restaurant food was really excellent and so we ate there every night for our 3 nights and is genuinely a very high standard and good value. In this area you might expect to pay less but for us - worth paying a little extra for the talented kitchen staff and wonderful service. The second reason you should stay here is the organised trips. There is a selection of tours inc. elephant rides, boat tours, walking tours etc. and the staff here organise everything for you including towels for lake swimming and lights for the caves. The prices are very good and approved by the national park to ensure you are not over charged which can easily happen. The hotel makes it easy to book and you can be assured good prices (they were the cheapest we found during our research by a good margin). The tours we had were truly excellent including pick up and drop off.

We loved Khao Sok, and will definitely be returning. After seeing some other accommodations we agreed that this place was the nicest. We had a spacious twin bed room (hut), nice bathroom and generally nice area. Pool was clean and refreshing, and the staff were lovely, although only one seemed to speak English well. I would recommend staying here, is also a great place for kids to visit as there are quite a few activities they would enjoy.

The hotel itself is a great value for what you receive, although they are a bit out of the way to the main strip of restaurants and the entrance to the National Park itself. The hotel does, however, offer a free shuttle three times a day to the park entrance (otherwise you have to pay a taxi 50THB per person to get there, or walk-- which is a bit of a distance since you will probably be hiking in the park too!) Pros- The hotel staff is so friendly! They are more than willing to help you book tours, and transportation to and from Khao Sok. There is a small mini-mart right by the hotel to buy snacks and drinks (although options are limited). The restaurant serves good food three times a day (free breakfast!). Cons- No TV in room (but this can be seen as a good thing too!), far away from park entrance.

Would have rated a five if we didn't have to spend excessive time in rainy weather trying to find the place. Enjoyed one night only (low season) due to a friends illness elsewhere... would have liked to have stayed longer. Comfortable, a bit of a walk to the room... 'family' bungalows also suitable for two couples as each bedroom has it's own toilet. The place was hard to find though, due mainly to the cell number belonging to the owner who was overseas. No significant identifying notice outside the place as yet, but it is new so it will get there eventually. Bring a tennis racquet in case the weather allows a game on the very good court. Staff children play a great game and more than competition for this mature lad. Pool good value. Good for family although it is not cheap. You get what you pay for though, if you're looking for quality accommodation and genuine accommodating staff. Gardens and surrounds well done.

The cabins were very comfortable , spacious and clean. The location is fine, close to the Park entrance. When we arrived we were greeted by a sign that it is not allowed to bring foods or drinks to the resort. ( obviously, breakfast was not included, hmm) I still recommend the place but you need to be aware of a couple of things. We had some trouble finding the place and called the manager many times, however, they were not answered nor returned, we were told that the manager was in Klong? There is no TV in the room. Also, we were told that there was only one airco remote for ten cabins (?) The pool was great but not suitable for your children, 5 ft deep , no slope.

The scenery around the Khao Sok hotel was stunning. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and inviting. The room was very spacious and very clean. We stayed in the honeymoon jaccuzzi suite. It was a lot nicer than the pictures shown on the website. The decor was a lot nicer than expected. The bathroom was very nice and spacious, with his and her sinks, a good powerful shower and a pretty big jaccuzzi. On the website, it says 'free wifi' in your room. If you stay in the honeymoon jaccuzzi suite, you definately won't get this. You can only get wifi in the reception / restaurant area, and maybe in some of the rooms near the restaurant / reception area. If you want a wild night out, this is not the place to be, but If you like a bit of piece and quiet, this place is perfect. You need to drive about 10 mins to where the main area / bars are. The food was very tasty and their were a good variety of drinks sold at a pretty reasonable price for a hotel. Definately would stay at this hotel again :D
