This is a lovely place at a great price. A comfy 8-minute walk to the beach means I was close enough not to break a sweat but far enough from the busy-ness of the Kata Beach core. There's a great, cheap laundry service right across the street, and a beautiful mountain view from the rooms. A wonderful place. The only downside is that their restaurant isn't the best quality, and I am 80% sure I got food poisoning from eating there. It could have been from somewhere else though.

Very reasonably priced hotel. Very good service. Laundry is reasonably priced. Room was beautiful. Only stayed three nights but could have stayed there longer. Only about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach/main restaurant/shop area. Always left us bottled water in the minifridge. Internet was good and free. There were a few mosquitos that got into the room but they were never really a bother. Was suprised by how nice the room was, knowing what we paid. Due to our flight, we arrived at 2 am and they had our room ready and brought our bags up quickly so we could get to bed. Breakfast was good. My wife and I fully recommend this hotel for travelers on a budget.

The staff at Kata Studios are laid back and there are no sales pitches for anything (which is a refreshing change in Thailand). The queen bed in my studio was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever stayed in - both firm yet soft. The balcony kitchen is great if you want to prepare your own food but after sampling the food at the restaurant attached to the Hotel I didn't bother. The Capricorn restaurant was fantastic, fresh, and cheap as chips. The rooftop pool and spa is awesome and if you prefer the beach then it is a ten minute stroll down the hill. I hired a moped from a place a few doors up and was at the beach in 30 seconds. The stay was very relaxing and I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. Thankyou !

Cheap price great hotel. Could make some improvement on the breakfast. Hotel room was big wifi signal good. Swimming pool good. Nearby to convenience shop. Far from beach. 15mins walking, 5 mins motorbike. Worth it hotel if you are on budget and willing to cook during your holiday.
