Lanta Corner Resort

Great views of sunset from the bed in our private unit! Very close to some fun beach bars but you’ll need to cross a few feet of wet and rocky beach to get there. No room service or vending machines so stock-up on water and snacks.

Front desk closes at 9PM. No decaf coffee or hot chocolate at breakfast. Sink in bathroom was not draining and was not fixed upon request. Staff left my room unlocked so the A/C could run because they do not have spare keys to bungalows. You need to jump over a stream to reach nearby restaurants. Staff is friendly but their English is limited. Beach has many rocks covered with moss at low tide. Was advised to go to neighboring beach for coral reef snorkeling from shore, but no reef visible. Water had many tiny jellyfish without tentacles that did not seem to sting but made swimming less enjoyable.

Lovely individual detached chalets overlooking the ocean. Clean & comfortable and no other hotels is sight. Scooter, motorcycle or car rental on site. Very nice staff. Restaurant serves good food - try it!

Lacking all basic amenities, property in old condition and poorly maintained. Restaurant is surprisingly awful with the food quality. Breakfast buffet is never refilled so go when it opens or starve. Beautiful view.

This hotel has allot of potential but feels like someone built it and walked away. We stayed in a villa with a private pool. From what we could tell from the photos looked like it was going to be an amazing place to stay but we got there check in was slow, the restraint was closed for maintenance, the swim up bar closed for maintenance and the main pool should have been closed for maintenance as there were tiles falling off the wall and floor of the pool with a sign strategically placed saying watch for sharpe edges. Our room had a sofa that used to be white but full of stains and the bathroom was moderately clean. On a positive note we did enjoy evening dips in the private pool and the bathroom is nice and large, and beds were good. The resort itself lacks character and is located in an awkward place on the island between 2 busy beaches so you have to rent a scooter or pay lots for a taxi, beach is rocky and the grounds are not well kept. With that said I believe there is better places on the island for the same or less than what we paid so I don’t think we will return

The view from our cabana was terrific overlooking the sea. The size was good for both of us. Was very peaceful and quiet during our 4 days there. Areas not so enjoyable was not having an easy way to get to my cabana from the lower walkway other than climbing a steep embankment. An area for improvement is for the restaurant to have the foods available that are listed on the menu. We purchased many different meals next door at a very small husband/wife on the beach since they had what we wanted.

This resort has tremendous natural beauty. With some upgrades it could be outstanding. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and kind. The room was fine except the AC couldn’t keep up so the room was consistently too warm. Not good for the tropics. The shower had only cold water and the television never worked. All that said, our stay was overall a good experience.

Great spot, peaceful with an ocean view. Kind staff and everything in koh Lanta is close so easy to explore around but not in the bustling pier area. Didn’t try the breakfast but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had great water pressure.

pictures look good on line. rating was good on line but far from good very poor condition rooms are in rough shape couch was vey stained and not inviting to sit on staff not helpful breakfast they tried to put out the bare min

Our stay at this resort was amazing. The view was gorgeous from our “corner villa”, right off the beach giving a panoramic view of the ocean. The pool was wonderful, very clear and kept clean. Breakfast had great options and a great view as well. Great value for what you pay. We also rented a scooter from the resort that was 250bht per day and worked great. We will definitely stay here again one day.

Rooms more run down than in pictures - bathroom particularly in need of a refurb. No hot water during stay (and not sorted after mentioned to reception). Breakfast to order not buffet as in picture. Having said this view from property is lovely and the area around it is great, really quiet and lovely cafes and massage place next door on the beach. Also for the price I would still say good value so all in all would stay again.

Great place, clean and comfy rooms, very friendly staff, great pool, food was ok, would stay again for sure.

Location is perfect for who love just have relax and lay down on swimming pool, take a trip to snorkeling some days. Staffs very kind and helpful. I love this hotel. I really recommend you to stay here .

My partner and I loved Lanta Corner Resort. They offer a ton of bang for your buck - we had a sea view villa, which was incredible. Huge windows to wake up and enjoy the sea right out of the bed. The breakfast spread was impressive and the staff super friendly and helpful. We loved how clean and spacious the grounds were too - you never felt like it was crowded because of this. Would absolutely come back and recommend to a friend.

Lanta Corner is in a beautiful location. The rooms are separate from one another. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay!

Pros: Amazing service, great pool, views were amazing from the dining area, helpful staff, good shuttle service, breakfast included was a nice selection, clean room, the most comfortable bed and pillows Cons: location as it was far from anything (not really walking distance to anything), the beach is small and more rough than soft sand and we had paid for a beachfront seaview but were not beachfront and our view was blocked with a patch of hilly grass and a path so we did not get the room we paid for Overall: we would rated this resort excellent if we had gotten the beachfront and seaview villa we had selected

The rooms are unique and are separate modern buildings with glass walls on 3 sides. Whilst the view is great, privacy can be an issue and also the greenhouse effect which gives overheating the air con can’t overcome thus necistating closing the curtains which make the room feel quite small. There are no curtains or blinds in the bathroom with only the bottom half of the window blacked out. Again it gives privacy and greenhouse effect heat issues. The nearest beach Khlong khon is about a 10min walk away but you’ll need a tuk tuk Home when dark and he fastest route relies on the tide being out. Personally I would rather have stayed closer to the action in Phi phi although if you want to just lie by a very nice pool then this is ideal. Boat trips are also widely available and I’d highly recommend opal tours phi phi trip for 1,500 baht each

This is a very amazing resort run by a family (father, mother, and son), but mainly the son name Bon. They are on site just about everyday to make sure guests and things are OK. The resort is brand new of about 4-5 months old and Bon rated it as 3 stars but it can easily be 4 or 5 stars in our opinion. It is a "work in progress" resort as things are still in the process of improving. But do not let that fool you since it is great right now and the owners are still trying hard to improve it (you probably will not notice unless you talk to them). They will appreciate you inputs. I think it has 38 rooms now but when fully developed, it will be 45 rooms. The lobby and restaurant are HUGE by a LARGE and nice swimming pool looking into the Andaman Sea with unobstructed sunset views. There is a private beach about 90 meters long on site on left side as you look to the sea, but guests did not know while we were there and thought there were a bunch of rocks. At night, you can check out the beach with provided flash light. Lots of hermit crabs and other creatures and kids will love it. During low tide, rocks (not sharp) were exposed with sea cucumbers; but you can get out further to swim. High tide, you can easily swim. It is very quiet and peaceful resort among the crowded hotels nearby on the island. There are snorkels available for free, just ask, and you can snorkel right on the property, which we did. They even let us paddle their plastic boat around! Great and friendly service.

We took one of the beach side bungalows , the shortest walk to the small but private beach . At low tide there are too many rocks to swim but at high tide it's the perfect private beach , we enjoyed countless sunsets on the beach or from our front porch . The staff was wonderful and very helpful . Bon in particular was of great help , there wasn't a problem he couldn't resolve quickly and professionally . We were truly sad to leave .
