Me Dee Resort

Hanung, his staff, Fern, the owners and everyone was hospitable. Very friendly and made you feel like you're at home. The bungalows were very clean and the view to the ocean was amazing. I would recommend for anyone that wants a private setting or even family friendly setting this is the place. They can help you with motor bike rentals to finding you a nice relaxing massage on the beach. We went about 12 minutes on motor bike to a nice cozy restaurant called mangrove where the food was delicious and you can rent kayaks. Or enjoy a little live music at slowbar with Top the bartender. Our overall stay in Koh Kood was amazing. Will definitely visit again soon. ☺️

We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got drinks at the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food was good, although both food and drink were slightly overpriced. The breakfast provider was disappointing, the only good points being the Coffee and the freshly cooked eggs you can order. It lacked a few other items though. The beach beds / furniture need some investment. Allot of it was dated, and falling apart, which means there’s a high demand for the limited ‘modern’ beds. I think a 3 star review is fair. What you’re paying for is the location, which cannot be beaten - the stretch of beach Me Dee is located on is arguably the best in Koh Kood. That being said, I feel the resort needs some investment here and there, which would improve my rating.

Nice and quiet beach but this is unfortunately only one positive in this resort. We paid 125 USD per night - for this price we received poor breakfasts, bad service during breakfasts. For drinks I´m reccomending next resort on the left side, for lunch and dinner I´m reccomending resort on the right side after big pier. We tried some food also in Medee, but portions were quite small and taste of the food wasn´t good.

The hotel is located in one of the best locations in the island but it's totally overpriced for its amenities during high season. I can see it's a quiet new hotel and management/owner may not have much experience in hospitality and providing good services to guests. The room is clean and neat overall. The bed is big and comfy. But it can be much better for this price. There can be more decorations, one or two paintings will help change the whole amposthere. Bathroom can be more stylish. No hairdryer is provided which they should definitely add. Breakfast is a quiet big issue. The quality is poor. For the price I'm paying, I'd expect a variety of food for my selection. But the choices are very limited. The best thing was the eggs. They need to add more options. And improve the tastes of everything...or I'd prefer set breakfast that I can have something tasty and fresh made if doing a bigger buffet would be an issue for the hotel. The owner and most of the staff need to speak fluenter English. The owner may want to learn more about hospitality. Food at the restaurant is good and barbecue food for dinner is tasty. But it takes a quiet long time for the food to be ready due to lack of enough Human Resources. The managements may want to think well how to improve the hotel better. After all, it is located in one of the best locations and it's new. It just needs more passion from the management to make their pro poetry totally like a resort.

Great hotel it's right on the beach and the beach was so clean and nice the rooms were excellent and cheap but the food and drinks at the hotel were pretty expensive and there motorbikes were much more expensive then other places around the island but besides that a great trip!

I stayed here 2 nights, unfortunately 2 nights was all I could stand. The beach is amazingly beautiful, however the rest was pitiful, small room, broken bedside light, toilet which stank of sewer, Patio lights not working, and they only give you one keycard which means even the fridge turns off while you're out the room, so no cold water or beer when you get back to your room, aircon took ages to cool the room. staff barely spoke english, I pointed out the broken lights and bad smell in the bathroom, nothing was done about it. breakfast was dismal, eggs on toast was all I ate as there was little else. highly overpriced for what you get. I would seriously not recommend this place unless you dont mind being ripped off.

If you wish to relax and do nothing this is the place! A beautiful spot where you can kick off your shoes and relax completely. Staff are exceptional and will do anything to please! We will be back so don't change anything!

We arrived at the resort on a speed boat - jumped off into the beautiful clear water with our back packs and the hotel was right there, on the very beautiful beach. Paradise! The staff were very helpful and attentive. Good breakfasts and the food in the restaurant was lovely. They catered for me as a vegetarian by kindly adapting the meals. The bungalows/rooms are compact but clean and well kitted out. The only gripe I have is the stray dogs 😭 They're all hungry and some had obvious wounds/sores which needed urgent medical attention. It would be nice to see the resorts getting together to help these poor animals. As an owner of a dog, I find it quite hard to see. Maybe if enough people suggest it?!? I just hope that the owners don't chase them away due to these types of comments (I.e. out of sight, out of mind) as they need all the scraps of food they can get. Poor little things.

Posizione perfetta per visitare l’isola con praticamente ogni servizio a disposizione nelle vicinanze. Mi sarebbe piaciuta una colazione più varia ma le difficoltà di approvvigionamento sono il motivo per cui bisogna accettare anche qualche piccola mancanza.

Manque quelques parasols et transat sur la plage

Superbe emplacement sur la plage de Tapao, sable blanc, eau claire et transats sous les cocotiers....Les bungalows sont impeccables et la literie est bonne. Le personnel à été très sympa. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très bien, tout comme leur menu du restaurant. Pas de piscine mais elle ne manque pas...Je recommande.

Allt var verkligen superbra. Allt från mat, service och städning. Det enda som kunde vara störigt var myror i badrummet lite överallt men det får man nästan leva med om man vill bo i den typen av miljö. Fantastiskt god mat, jättebra service och en vacker strand, 10/10.

Resortin huoneet on siistejä ja hyvin pidettyjä, joskin vähän ahtaitaita. Koko resortin alue on siisti. Ranta on hyvä auringon ottoon ja uimiselle. Yli viikon oleskeluun aamupala saisi olla vähän monipuolisempi. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Yleisarvosanaksi voisi antaa kiitettävä -

Resorten ligger på en strand bland en del andra resorter. Bungalowsarna är ganska små så två personer är max. Vi hade våran bungalow längst fram så vi hade en underbar utsikt mot trädgård och strand. Städningen var ok men ganska sent på dagen. Pool som stod i beskrivningen skulle finnas fanns inte. Inget problem för oss men kan vara bra att veta. Maten var också bra. Kan tilläggas att här är det relax som gäller, finns inte mycket att göra och kvällarna avslutas väldigt tidigt.
