Absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff go above and beyond, just loved everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. If I can think of just one improvement, it would be to have a bar open after dinner in the evening as after dinner everyone seems to just disappear either out to Fisherman’s village or to bed, so would be nice to have a bar just to sit and enjoy a cocktail

We had an amazing stay at the Melati! It’s slightly tucked away but close to night life and markets etc which was perfect for us. It’s situated on a lovely small bay with one other bar/restaurant so away from the crowds of some of the other beaches. Staff were amazing at the Melati, friendly and welcoming the whole time, breakfast was also too good!!!! We would definitely come again if we returned to Koh Samui.

This is a nice hotel. The main draw is the sizeable pool and the beach and the staff are very helpful. We didn’t have any problem with Mosquitos, at all. The comments in previous reviews about the breakfast…really? Coffee, fruit, juices, eggs however you like. It’s really good, even multiple Gluten free options. The location is quiet but easy short drive to Fisherman’s Village, where we ate most nights. It is an older property but this doesn’t detract at all due to the polite helpful nature of staff. We would stay again if we were lucky enough to come to Koh Samui.

Excellent hotel in such a quiet and relaxing location. Rooms are wonderful, restaurants are great, inc a great buttet. For the most part the service was lovely, but at times it seemed like such an effort to get them to help (for example, booking kids club for the following day I was told I would have to do it in person at 8am the next morning, rather than reception helping)- especially for the higher price tag you pay to stay here! However Atish and Sushi (trainees) were spectacular. The downside of the privacy and remoteness is the lack of ANYTHiNG is surrounding area - 400baht min to go anywhere. So regular shuttle bus would be very welcomed. But, still worth it to be quite secluded from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. But positively, Fishermen’s Market is only 15min ride and a really lovely, clean and safe, SE Asian street market Great family resort too - plenty of families for the kids to get to know others, and the kids club for out 8/11yo’s was perfect. Also one of the best equipped hotel gyms I’ve used! Overall though, a fantastic stay and will definitely return.

We stayed in Presedential suite 702/704. The rooms were great, spacious and had everything we needed. The aircon in 704 didn't seem to be cooling very well. The staff did check quickly but said all was ok. This room was always warmer than the others. 702, the master suite, was right next to a service. This meant we heard vehicles, doors banging and staff conversations until as late as midnight/1am and again from 5/6am in the morning. The first night, there was a wedding. This was totally fine but all the usual restaurant furniture had been stored in front of our room. The noise of the staff putting the restaurant back together had us awake past 1am.

Lovely very quite resort, no loud music around pool and comfortable loungers. The website says they do things like aqua aerobics and beach volleyball but none of these were on offer when we went in January. This is away from other resorts and hotels so taxi required to get anywhere else but easy to obtain. There is also a more basic restaurant next door which has delicious food. the hotel restaurants are ok but you obviously pay more. The beach is small and in a bay so no long walks on beach possible. The area in front of hotel is well maintained but the beach outside villas next door has alot of rubbish washed up. This would be too quiet for families with anything other than very small children I would suggest, although they do have paddle boards and jetskis, weather permitting. Lovely staff who all very friendly. The gardens are amazing and the rooms feel private and are very spacious. We had a grand deluxe with balcony which was lovely with large frangipani trees outside where birds and butterflies visited. Would definitely recommend for those who want a totally relaxing holiday.

Peaceful and beautiful, just the right amount of luxury. Loved our stay and barely left the pool and beach!

While the resort was in a remote area of the island it is an ideal place to spend a couple of days to spend a restful vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way. More than similar resorts of hotels in other parts of the world.

Lovely eco friendly type of hotel. Feels like you are in a rain forest minus the rain.
