Once Again Hostel was perfectly located in old town Bangkok, very close to Chinatown, Wat Arun Ratchawararam Temple and several other incredible monuments and palaces. However, it also felt very cozy and off the beaten path. I felt dropped into a food paradise and would definitely stay here again. The staff was awesome and helpful. The dorms were clean and felt private, safe, and secure.

The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the daily trips they offered. They also treated us to dinner during my stay. The beds were spacious and the privacy curtains were greatly appreciated. I absolutely loved the interior design and all of the plants. Also the rooftop at nighttime was a great place to make friends. The atmosphere was awesome. I will be staying here again

The hostel is really clean and has a nice aesthetic but that’s about it. I think you’re paying more for the look than anything else. The restrooms are cleaned often throughout the day but there are no air fresheners... so at the end of the day/evening with the hot air and humidity the whole corridor starts to smell bad. Also, almost half of the over head showers weren’t working and the placement of hooks within the shower were close to the water so everything would get splashed on ... especially when you’re forced to use the hand held shower head. If you’re into doing your makeup, the light quality is really poor for that. It’s like doing your makeup at a club. The rooms have really nice blackout curtains and mood lighting. The mattress and pillow is okay. The safe is ridiculously small and at the foot of the bed/inside the curtain so kind of awkward. So bring an extra lock for your luggage/backpack. Also, the bedroom door opens inward which is unsafe. There are some pieces of paper hanging up advertising food tours and a music event but it’s really minimal. I imagined the hostel would be way more inclusive and community oriented than that. The staff doesn’t interact much with the guests, which was fine for me but I feel like (since it’s such a big place), if I brought an outsider into my room, no one would notice. The rooftop is just it. A rooftop with a bunch of platforms to sit on. But the location isn’t bad... pretty close to a lot and isn’t very touristy.

Great sleep, but if you close the curtains you have no air, the room smelled like humidity. Location wise was great, close to looots of things but not lots of restaurant close (to my knowledge just one next to it) Breakfast, not that varied but cant expect much, right? Clean, pretty good. Service, meh.

I was looking forward to my stay here, I heard about the hostel via word of mouth on my travels in Thailand and I was impressed by their website and image. Overall though I would say that personally (for me) I was disappointed. Where it excels is in social activities and the location is ok, but once you get a little used to Bangkok getting around is not so bad. I had previously stayed in other accommodation in the city with less expense and higher standards and facilities (eg included cooked breakfast, immaculate bathrooms). Extra charges here such as towel rental were a surprise to me. The staff were very nice, the vibe is good, the location fine. I missed a window/ natural light in the superior dorm and felt like some finishing touches were missing from the place.

PROS The staff is very resolutive and helpfull. The location is super close to temples, khao san road, and Thipsamai ( delicious Pad Thais) You need to give a deposit of 200baths per towel and 100baths per key. The breakfast is basic but for the price that you paid is very good. Beds are confortable and clean.

The lobby and the rooftop were the best things about this hostel. They were clean, spacious and welcoming but unfortunaly that's where It stopped. What we booked on hotels.com and the room we booked was not what we recieved and the staff said they hadn't yet updated it on hotels.com because they swapped the rooms around. (No that's our fault) They did try to fix the situation but the solution saw us moved to a new room right next to the staff room and not a solution at all as the staff like to stay awake intil 3am. Very noisy hostel so if you want any sleep I wouldn't recommend and the bathrooms were dirty the whole time we stayed. Breakfast was toast and cornflakes so nothing to fet excited about. Stayed here's as it's a fair way from Khoi SAN Road but still just as much a party hostel then if we stayed on the road itself.

I have mixed feelings with this hostel. I really like how they designed the hostel,love it! The bed is comfy,bathroom is clean and nice. Late night like Friday night and Saturday night can be loud from other people getting drunk from the walk way. The location is good enough if you dont mind walking to places or taking a bus,tuk tuk or taxi to go anywhere else ( I prefer the hostels that are more convenient like close to BTS or MRT so I dont have to deal with the traffic and scamming taxi/tuk tuk drivers ). Over all its a great experience,I would recommend anyone stay here to see way of Thai life and surrounding attractions.

+++ nice place for very reasonable price 20 min walk from khaosan road and 10 min golden mount awesome bed in dorm! big and comfort also our dorm has balcony, it doesn'n have any view but you can dry your clothes there :) great roof top terrace, it looks like nobody knows about it so every evening we stayed there alone with this perfect view and beer :) lobby just doesn't look like hostel's lobby but like hotel - very beautiful and stylish --- water heating works not in every shower cabin also they are still in renovation fase so there might be some smell of paint or glue in the corridor but they are fixing it pretty fast
