Sakura Hotel

The room is not clean at all. When I opened it, the first feeling was a musty smell. The curtains in the room and the bathroom had black water stains. There was mold on the lid, bed, chair, and curtains in the room. The room is very old. There was dust in the air conditioner. The nightstand was sliding out and there was a lump of dust. There were also pieces of condom wrappers left. The bathroom had unclean garbage. The air conditioner was very old and made a loud noise. It was hard to breathe while sleeping at night because of the dust. One plug was broken but it wasn't fixed. The only usable point was close to breaking and not tight. I was very afraid of getting an electric shock when plugging in the charger. The chair was torn as seen in the picture. Even the sofa in the lobby had black mold stains. The parking lot was dark and guests entered through the back door which was next to the engine room. However, the staff provided good service and spoke politely. However, I only thought about the cleanliness and the (very) old age of the hotel. Even the sign in the elevator showing what services the hotel offers was torn but was not replaced with a sticker. It's like the owner doesn't care about renovating it. The price is 500 baht per night, claiming to be a 3-star hotel, but the quality is not close to the price at all. Even though it is in a commercial area (Odeon), there are a lot of tourists. It should be better than this.

The hotel is old but still okay. I got a room without a window, but the room was a good size. If you just want to sleep, it's good. It's convenient to travel.

Map location showing different in app. Extra time to locate and checking with local people only able to find out exact location. Room smelly.

Location very centrally located and the price is value for money, especially for solo travelers keeping to a budget for an extended period.

The price isn't worth, the old lee garden plaza hotel much more better, and cheaper. free breakfast provided at sakura hotel but they not allowed us to take breakfast on the day I check in, water heater not working, can't sleep at night due to pub crowd below hotel. I took rm129 room (standard room) not worth. lee garden hotel RM 62 only, very big room
