The Slate, Phuket is a lush, luxurious retreat just minutes from Nai Yang beach. The resort’s unique design, rich history, and tranquil atmosphere make it a standout. The pools and walkways are beautifully maintained, offering a true escape into nature.
We loved the variety of tailored activities, and The Rivet restaurant served one of the best tomahawk steak we’ve ever had. Special thanks to Boom and Gift for their exceptional service. Drinks at the bars were also top-notch.
A special shoutout to the staff and airport driver who went above and beyond to return my forgotten phone to me at the airport just in time for our flight. That level of care truly sets The Slate apart. Highly recommended!

I only stayed for one night but this was the perfect place. Beautifully presented, from the moment I checked in the staff were incredibly friendly and informative. Such a green surrounding and the beach is a short walk. I had a wonderful stay.

The Slate was a beautiful place to stay. My boyfriend proposed at Black Ginger and it was such a romantic setting. Our rooms were comfortable on the resort, staff was extremely attentive. Also, the food blew me away. I didn’t expect too much since it’s a resort. But the food was phenomenal. Especially the breakfast buffet. There was actual quality food. I have never seen a hotel have access to such fresh fruit, flax seeds, goji berries, walnuts, etc. My boyfriend enjoyed the smoked mackerel for breakfast daily. The pools were beautiful. Our room was reasonably quiet. There were some loud people above us but I was able to drown out the sound pretty well. Honestly it couldn’t have been a better stay!

This hotel is breathtaking. The staff are beyond friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was the Pearl Bed Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. I also booked transfers to and from the airport and they were prompt and kind. I will be staying at The Slate when I visit Phuket again!

The Slate resort is a beautiful and unique property. Staff is professional and friendly. Plenty of onsite pools. Beach is public and just behind the hotel. Small local market vendors line the street between beach and resort. Many dining options at hotel and across the street on the beach.

I booked this hotel after filtering hotels that are “pet friendly “
I booked a room assuming as this hotel showed up as pet friendly I could stay there with my SERVICE DOG!
Once arrived to the hotel they told me that I can only stay with my service dog if I upgrade myself to a villa (from a regular room). Since I had no other option after a very long flight and free cancellation time of this booking has passed, I paid them the extra 30,000 baht for upgrading to the villa.
This is very disappointing as I counted on Hotels.com to know about it and not to show my room/hotels that are not pet friendly after I clearly searched for it.

This is a great property to spend a holiday without the noise and the busy crowds of Patong. However, the very same location is the reason for inconvenience since you have to travel atleast an hour to get anywhere significant in Phuket. But the amenities in the resort were wonderful and we had a great time. Staff was very responsive and helpful. The busy beach area around the resort was a turn off and it made the area look dirty. Overall, the resort was good but you need to plan travel to your destination well ahead to make your stay better.
