Saint Francis Resort

We were so sad leaving St. Francis! The staff made our trip so memorable! Mary helped us with daily plans and transport. She was able to book everything for us. Cha Cha was our personal water taxi driver who always had a smile on his face! The cooks and the servers( Dely, Alex,Quami, PJ) were amazing and made our stay enjoyable. We were looking for quiet and a laid back atmosphere. This was it! The Bennett’s will be back!

We enjoyed our getaway. Beautiful views of bay and ocean. Our room overlooked the turquoise ocean water. What a spectacular way to wake up and fall asleep with sound and sight of waves. Staff was very kind. Family style place-don’t expect luxury here. Rooms are clean and has coffee machine with pods and mini fridge. Wonderful time to chill and let go as it’s a simple island lifestyle. Enjoyed use of kayaks exploring waters and surroundings. .

If your are looking for a fancy place this is not for you. What they don’t have is luxuries the make up for in the staff and the friendliness. I haven’t felt so relaxed at a resort like I have here I over 25 years. Kudos to the staff and kitchen. Food was excellent and drinks were great!! Highly recommend if you want a pure relaxing time. If you want pampering and luxury spaces this is not for you.

Beautiful location. The resort schedules your trip to and from the airport for you, which makes that part easy. After arrival getting to and from George Town requires some coordination with the water taxi. To get to the beaches on Stocking Island without a boat there are several trails. The trails are not always well marked but fortunately the whole island has cell coverage so you have GPS. The beaches are beautiful, pristine, and you’ll often have them to yourself. It’s a bit rustic but if you don’t mind that you’ll be well rewarded. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. The food at the resort restaurant is quite good, though the included breakfast buffet is mainly toast and cold lunchmeat. I ordered breakfast off the menu most of the time. They have a nice happy hour from 3-5 with much of the menu half off. There’s also a few beach bars on the island accessible by trail or boat with food and drink. The food at Chat n’ Chill is great. The frozen Aperol Spritz at the Coconut Club is refreshing after a hike through the bush in the tropical sun.

We had the best view from our room that I have ever had in my travels ( Room 1 ) - and I have traveled all over the world. The staff was warm and friendly and the food amazing. Everyone was willing to help make our time there easy and relaxed. The room was clean and the property obviously well cared for. The best part? Sasha! The small black cat that ended up visiting our room and even spending the night with us - it made us feel like we were home. One of the previous guests even started an Instagram account for her "SashaofStFrancis". check it out! The beach was literally ours alone - the time we spent there - there wasn't another single soul out there. Our entire time there was pure heaven and we can't think of a single thing we would change. THANK YOU.

My partner and I had a blast. It was breathtaking! Staff was very professional especially the property manager, she was very pleasant. Food was great, the views were great, the room was cozy. Overall 10/10.

The staff was amazing - gracious and kind. The propery itself could use basic maintenance - paint, simple landscaping, replacement of broken exterior items.

Had a great stay at St. Francis Resort. Beautiful location, staff was wonderful, food at The Snappy Turtle was very good. Room was not fancy, but clean. Peaceful and relaxing. Shout out to Mary, Kwami, Delly, Nelly, and Chaco....thanks for being so accommodating!

This a very minimal place so you are left to indulge in the natural beauty of it. Food was outstanding!! Fresh fish is so good,

most laid back vibe of all time. Friendly staff and sneaky good food. A1 all around

Our stay was AMAZING! Stayed at one of the ocean view cottages and the room was perfect. Huge bathroom and amazing balcony with lounge style chairs to sit back and enjoy the night, stars and sounds of the ocean! The restaurant was AMAZING. The food was really good and fresh made to order. I recommend the peas and rice with lobster and shrimp dish they have!
