Kapok Hotel

Excellent front desk service. I was worried, I'd miss the breakfast because on my early morning flight but the restaurant put a box together for me. I loved that they did that for me. Additionally, there's an outdoor pool and I loved that back area where it was situated. I'd book a stayvhere again.

I enjoyed the unique charm of the art and architecture. Our room was near the road so it was a little bit noisy. We still had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights.

The convenience of the location to the QRS and so many other adventurous places nearby to visit.

The location was accessible to the park where carnival activities take place. The on-site restaurant and front desk staff were friendly.

Especially enjoyed the breakfast

It was a very comfortable stay. The room was a bit small though. There was no hot water in my room, and part of the shower apparatus came off when turned on...however, the hotel staff was very accommodating, and promptly resolved the issues. The service staff was incredibly friendly and polite. I loved the fact that a local and continental breakfast was included.

All the stuff was really nice! Especially the check in crew 5 stars for them . Rooms are dated need to be upgraded. Overall would return.

Views of the capital are amazing from the 8th floor breakfast room. Breakfast items are adequate. Amazing eating at savannah park food court tues onwards from 18.00. This can be reached by shared taxis costing about 6 or 7 trinidadian dollars just outside the hotel and can get you in to town for all necssary connections to see the island. Pool lacks direct sunlight in the afternoon but is very deep at one end. Helpful staff.

This was my second time going to the Kapok Hotel during the Christmas Season and last year was my first. I had no idea of its exact location last year but pleasantly discovered it was beside the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens this year. It seems last year I went for a walk in the wrong direction. I love the food that you can buy at this hotel, from the pizza to the grilled veggies. I did not get to have any Asian Cuisine on this trip. After booking a Superior Room last year that I found Inferior and ending up in a corner suite. This year I just booked the corner suite. I like this because it includes a full size fridge and a microwave and a few dishes... The bedroom is separate and there is a bit of musty smell that comes from the air conditioner but it was much milder than the room I was in last year. What I LOVE THE MOST about this hotel is the Breakfast Buffet that you can also take out in a box. This is such an amazing feature especially for me as I am not an early riser or eater, but I can get to the buffet get my breakfast to go and then take it to my room and rest. Also the staff that serve at breakfast are so wonderful, friendly and eager to help, they made me feel special both last year and this year. And the breakfast food is amazing. Real scrambled eggs, fresh baked good and some wonderful traditional Trini delicacies. Yes I will be back again!

Was not impressed with the service. Ask for a wake up call this morning and it didn’t happen. I could have missed my flight. That was not a good look.

Had a great time. Friendly staff. Soft bed and loved the view of the outside from my room. Room clean. The only thing is that the floors were a bit grimy.

Such a wonderful experience

It was a pleasant experience. The hotel has a clean and welcoming environment, with a lovely view of the city from our room that added a touch of charm to our stay. Breakfast was delightful, and even though I dined alone as my partner chose to sleep in, I enjoyed the meal and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and approachable throughout, which added to the comfort of the stay. The only inconvenience was with the key cards. Upon arrival, only one card worked, which we didn't mind too much since it was a short stay. However, by the next morning, neither card worked. Since we were checking out after breakfast, we didn’t raise the issue with staff. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience was enjoyable. The cleanliness, great views, and friendly service make it a place I would happily return to in the future.
