Hotel old, not clean, air conditioning in room very NOISY, no windows in room so felt like a cave. And photos of room were taken when hotel was new

It was disgusting! Dark, damp, crowded and disgusting! Humidity was horrid. We checked in, went to our room and checked OUT! My wife got bites on her feet! I REFUSE to pay for that place!

Staff is excellent, location is convenient, rooms are comfortable and clean.

Close to the Hospital. Room did not have a window looking outside, window looked out into the hallway with another window in the hallway to outside.

Only complaint we had was the bed pillows were too small. They were square rather than oblong like a bed pillow.

There was odor in the room. The desk clerk was not helpful.

Had a room right next to the elevator that said "city view". Had a view of stop light. Room was small and smelled like pee. Toliet lid had to be taken off to get the toliet to stop running. Dated hotel.

Our AC wasn’t working 100%, but the desk staff immediately brought a fan, which helped. This is a great location for St. Mary’s and nice dining places and is moderate walking distance to Mayo. We would definitely stay again.

Convenient

Proximity to Mayo for surgery.

I don’t like that there are no windows on the rooms. The rooms open onto a hallway that is brightly lit with poor room darkening shades.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We returned because the beds were incredibly comfortable. No springs digging into your back all night, plenty of pillows are provided and if you’re sharing a bed you won’t be up all night hearing/feeling your partner toss and turn. We come down for Mayo and it’s conveniently located nearby with easy and quick travel to all the different locations we tend to frequent. It’s also conveniently located nearby some good restaurants. I am currently reliant on a wheelchair. We booked a handicap accessible room. The room and bathroom amenities did meet my needs well. The only complaint is the entrance from the parking lot is a tight squeeze with a wheelchair and the front desk is quite tall so without help, you can’t use the credit card machines or have a proper conversation with the front desk personnel. The breakfast leaves something to be desired. No hot options, just some stale pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc. All of our interactions with staff were pleasant enough. They weren’t overly cheerful but did not ignore us either. Check in process was quick which I appreciate after our long 9 hour drive. Overall, we enjoy staying here and will return.
