Best Western La Grande Hacienda

The room was rather dirty and there was debris all over the floor. Especially around the desk and the foot stool. There was long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower. My room was only 1 door away from a very busy entrance which the door closer needed adjusted as it slammed everytime it shut. Im glad I was fby myself as the king size bed had a big divit in it on one side and the pillows were not very comfortable. The best thing I found about this room was the super soft water and the quality of soap, shampoo, and conditioner was good.Also being located next door to the Monterey mexican restaurant was a plus.

The toilet kept flushing every 20-30 minutes. There was a bathtub but no plug. The swimming pool was filled with water but not useable. The room was clean. However there were construction workers who stayed that left trails of dry concrete through the halls and stair ways. We have stayed here other years to visit family. First it was great. Then just okay but now I would not return.

This was a very quiet property. Our room overlooked the pool area and had a strong bleach smell all the time. The breakfast was good. Several items to pick from. The facility could use a makeover but was overall mice.

There is a Great Mexican Restaurant right across the parking lot!

Very clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit bouncy but I slept well. A/C was noisy but worked well.

Room was “clean” but smelled awful. Ac didn’t work and never once received towels or had room redone.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I do wish the pool would have been functional as that was the whole reason i booked the hotel. I think the rooms could use some updating but otherwise its a comfortable stay.

Too bad the beautiful pool was not open. They are having trouble finding compatible parts for an old pump. We all know about those kinds of issues.

We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool. Unfortunately, it was not open. The water was dark green so it looks like it has been closed for quite some time.

Shower was dirty when we checked in and room smelled rotten. Pool was out of order.
