This was hands down the worst hotel ive EVER stayed at. Extremely dirty, our bed not only had clear signs of bed bugs but large blo*d stains under the bed coverings. (Definitely not bed bug related) (looked like drugs or even worse, thats how much bl*od was there) it is filled with super sketchy people and people who look like addicts who were scoping me and my family out and following us down the street. On top of all of that, its a run down hotel from the 1940s that has never ever been updated, situated at the end of a dirty back ally. Another family that got bait and switched into staying here told me that the second they left their room it got ransacked. They came back to their luggage raided and half stolen and told us that the front counter didnt care at all. This is that horror story hotel that you hear people talking about. I dont understand all these "good reviews" but it 100% need to be avoided at all costs. Stay at the mainstream hotels and uber to the beach. This hotel was beyond not worth it. Easily the worst hotel ive ever stayed at and ive learned my lesson, learn from my mistake!

I HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION BECAUSE OF THE MOLD/MILDEW. I ALSO ENED UP GETTING LEGIONNAIRES! HOTEL HAS OVER POWERING ROOM SPRAY TO COVER THE SMEEL OF MILDEW. BOOKED OCEANVIEW, GOT A DIRTY WINDOW THAT WAS SCREWED SHUT INSTEAD! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Not a hotel for more than 1 night stay.
Cons: Bed sheets were wet upon arrival, strong smoke odor, water from shower would not go down and would fill water in tub to the very top so unable to take more than 5 minute showers, no cable, killed several bugs the one night we stayed there.
Pros: Door access wasnt working but did get a new one from front desk staff, staff was able to change my room to one with dry bed sheets and no smoke smell, early checknin for $60, direct access to public beach, front desk let me borrow beach umbrella which is typically not included

The hotel is definitely outdated but i love the nostalgia.Elevator was super slow but atleast it worked..My balcony room was excellent and better than expected. The smell all around each floors was so fresh. Richie was so patient and amazing and Panela was my savior and went over and beyond to accommodate to my needs and very pleasant.Housekeeping turn over was awful and had to still go to desk to get my missing items..I am definitely coming back..Thanks guys for a wonderful vacation!

Staff is wonderful !! We have been coming here for the last 10 years and unfortunately this was our last. The property is getting worse and worse. Love the location and the staff, but the hotel is falling apart.

Desepcionante la stadia. En el hotel. Muy viejo .. las llaves del agua del shower no servian el ruido del aire acondicionado insoportable . Tubimos q pagar parqueadero afuera porque el hotel no tiene

Our door key would not work had to walk up three flights 30 times a day. Elevator is old went up once took 10 minutes to get from the lobby to the third floor. No shade in the bathroom took 2 days to get it. Finally the last day they switched the room because our key would not open. The pool needs to be cleaned it smells like sewage in the pool area.

Don’t waste money booking a reservation at this hotel. The bathroom floor and sink were nasty, staff was rude. They had missing tile in the threshold going into the bathroom. The bed covers were wet and worse beds ever. When I brought issues to front desk staff they stated it was wear and tear so it’s ok. Of course I didn’t stay the night. I just saw the room and the room and the condition and immediately went back to the front desk to ask for a refund.

The property has an excellent location, and we were offered a room with a beautiful view. You have the Beach bathrooms right in front the hotel a beautiful children's park, bike trails, and entrance to the beach. A location. The staff is friendly, but the place is not too clean. They forgot to clean our room, and the elevator takes forever to go up and down. If you are in a vacation mode, not an issue to wait. But they can do a little better with the cleaning of the place and elevator. Just minor details.
