Not worth the cost. Room was clean but very outdated and old / musty smelling. Parking very tight and no reserved spots was frustrating. Too many options around to not stay here again. Also WiFi is not good and could not stream on iPad at all.

It was old, run down

The location was just away from the city but perfect walking distance. The place was clean and peaceful. They serve a nice continental breakfast.

Room was clean; staff was polite and cooperative. Room was small and had few creature comforts.

TV remote did not work. Property offered bicycles free for use. Only one bicycle available, the other one had a broken tire.

The property is super cute, lots of charm. Small, old family run place. The rooms are cute with the tubs. Shower was great. Needs a bit of maintenance. There were quite a few things that needed attention that drew away from the charm (missing cabinet doors, large cracks in the wall/paint, mold in the bathrooms), and spiders everywhere!!

Place is lovely, needs some modern upgrades to be a 5 stars

Stay was not that great. Hotel is not well maintained. Breakfast didn't have much options. After checking out I noticed an extra charge in addition to Hotels com charge. I tried to call them several times and couldn't get thru. I also emailed them with no response. This place is over priced for a motel.

Mattress was horrible! Shower was great. Floors were dirty. Floors were tile and after waliing around barefoot yiur feet turn black. Mattress is terrible. Slept really bad. Were bot heavy people and we both were rolling into eachother all night.

Wonderful place

The room is decent & clean enough to stay in, close to shops, restaurants, & the beach. The staff is courteous & helpful. I will continue to stay here again.

The room smelled like the last person was living there for months.

Motel charged me an additional $60 after I paid my bill. Despite repeated attempts to get in touch with someone to explain the charges, no one has ever returned my call. The place was quaint, but not cute enough to stay at again, especially with mystery charges added onto your bill after checkout.

Not so great... I can definitely tell someone has put in a lot of blood sweat and tears. So I do wish I could leave a better review but alas this is for you traveler. We had a short stay and we're traveling with friends and I feel not all rooms are equal based on location. There are some rooms where people live full time and that made me uncomfortable. Getting ice was problematic and there's only a person at the front desk sometimes and if they aren't there you're on your own with trying to get any help . My friends had a gas stove in their room that was malfunctioning and leaking gas into the room and they couldn't find anyone to assist them. It was scary. So it just seems like there's some safety issues. The door to our room didn't shut all the way without slamming it shut and randomly popped open while we were sleeping. As for the cleanliness, the comforter had stains like blood and there was dust and spots that hadn't been cleaned maybe ever. The trash area is full of old mattresses and beds and all the trash it's like a little dump/ landfill and ruins the vibe.Then to top it off they add in additional fees for using this service hotels.com ... The only reason I booked this motel is to save a little bit extra so to have the charges added into the backend feels yucky!

Great spot in Carp. Alot better than in the 90s. Close to downtown and the beach. Bikes are available. Breakfast is a continental. Great!!!

Caution: That property will charge an extra hotel price with the reason that "the price paid while booking is too low" and unauthorizedly deduct the amount from your deposit amount. The so-called "breakfast" is poor in quality and quantity.
