Comfort Inn Marina on the Monterey Bay

My friends and I just stated the weekend here and we had a great experience! The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and the breakfast was really good! I love that they have a waffle maker!

My room was smelling gross and dirty

It's a very peaceful area and site. The front desk lady was very polite and helpful. The containers of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion need to be replenished. There was no shampoo container in the shower. The shower could have been cleaned better and it didn't smell freshly sanitized.

Rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, they took time to book our 2 rooms together which it was very convenient for us.

I honestly picked this hotel for the area. Quiet, safe, but close to some good restaurants. Its a 2 minute drive from the beach. The breakfast was divine.

The toilet was broken (wouldnt flush) and the phone was not working. No dial tone and was very dirty. We were moved to another room which was a little larger but the curtains were stained and dirty. The shampoo and conditioner were very low, so we finishe all. Overall, i felt safe but wished the rooms had a safe amd much cleaner.

The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like it was small more like full size. The curtains were all broken up, hard to cover the window. I was disappointed and will never stay there again.

We chose this hotel for access to Monterey, not for Marina which has little to offer. Easy drive via Route 1. The room had all we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The thing that spoiled our stay was a group of teenage girls, apparently a sports team, who arrived about 10.20pm and then made a continual racket, both in the corridor, and in our neighbouring room. A ball was bounced off our bedhead wall and the talking and laughing was still happening at 12.45, even after a call to Recepton regarding the matter. So we requested/demanded another room for sleeping which we were immediately given. Were it not for this appalling behaviour, lack of parental interventio n and failure of the hotel to enforce a quiet night, we would happily have given a 5 star review.

Nice and clean property but the water pressure in the shower was very low.

Stayed with wife and 1 year old son. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking on site. Bit of drive from Monterey. Overall good experience.
