Breakfast is repetitive.. Wifi is poor

Staff were nice.. halls were dirty but room was clean.

Everything was great plus I had paid for two rooms because another couple was going to be coming with us but had a last-minute change and could not come, the staff and Travelocity was kind enough to refund us our money for that room.

The facility was clean. Regina prepared the complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. Very nice. The staff were very friendly. The fitness center needs some attention, but was adequate.

If I am honest, we were quite disappointed in our experience. For being a reasonably new hotel, there were cracked tiles in the elevators. Elevators that didn't work for two of the three days. But what is most frustrating was the even though the manager knew the air conditioning unit was problematic in our room, they still looked us in it and it was a miserable hot night. The following day the did provide an alternate room but the air conditioner in that room was also not functioning properly so our 2nd two nights were also uncomfortable at best as only the fan worked and not the thermostat to cool the room. The manager said they would provide a good will gesture, but I was billed for the original price. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a great weekend stay. Service was friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the waffles at breakfast.

Had a terrible experience at this Comfort Inn! From the moment we arrived, we had a terrible encounter with someone in the parking lot. I hate to bring race into it but it is what it is. Turns out that person was also our neighbor. So we were not surprised when we received a “noise complaint”. The person on staff came banging loudly on our door and startled us and our children. We tried to explain the situation about the neighbor to the attendant but she was rude and nasty to us as well. In all the years of traveling with our children, we never received a noise complaint. When we asked if she heard noise when she arrived, her response was that she heard us talking. Then lied and said it was the second time she came to us. We were so shocked at how rude and unprofessional she was to us. It was our first time in Kentucky and likely our last at this Comfort Inn. The experience just left us feeling unsafe and it was hard to sleep but I refuse to let this bad experience shape how I treat people who don’t look like me. Thankfully the morning attendant was way more friendly so I would conclude that evening attendant’s attitude did not reflect not the overall culture of the hotel. In addition, the sofa mattress was stained and unusable. I didn’t bother to tell the attendant because I knew she wouldn’t care. Would never stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our visit to The Ark Encounter. The location was very convenient, right near Walmart, Dunkin', Papa John's, and many other restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly and professional. We had an issue with our thermostat late at night and had to change rooms, but even with the hotel near full capacity, the front desk lady handled it superbly: she brought the new room key directly to us, and we were settled into a new room within a few minutes. The next day, she followed up to make sure we were comfortable and also let us know that the A/C maintenance team had already fixed the issue in our original room, which was reassuring. The pool, though a bit on the smaller side, was a huge plus for the kids. After driving for 7 hours, we really enjoyed it—the water temperature was fairly comfortable, which is not always the case at other hotels. When the pool room ran out of towels, we notified the front desk, and within 5 minutes the towels were restocked, again with a genuinely friendly and welcoming attitude! I was happy to see a coin laundry room available as well, which is always a great amenity during longer trips. Breakfast was good! The lady overseeing breakfast kept everything well-stocked at all times, tables were wiped down almost immediately, and she was consistently friendly and helpful. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and we loved that you could make your own waffles—either regular or strawberry flavor.

Excellent hotel next to Walmart and very close to restaurants. Friendly staff, free parking, very good breakfast and clean.

I guess I got what I paid for. It wasn't very expensive so the up keep in the hotel was just OK
