Comfort Suites Gothenburg

New building

Overnight stay en route to elsewhere. Very nice hot breakfast, clean comfortable room. We’ve stayed there often and always return.

The area is safe and quiet, our check in was easy, our room was clean and beds and bedding were comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and nice. We stayed there with kids and they allowed my Granddaughter to swim an extra hour after check out, which made her whole day. Thank you for your great hospitality, we will stay here again in the future.

Room 110. Smelled of must and mold, very humid in the room. Dead bolt didn't work. Bathroom door would not shut. Caulk was poorly done and moldy around the shower. Bed covers/duvet had holes in one and stains on the other. Gross. The guy at the desk gave us new ones. I don't know if he would have given us a different room. We had already gotten our things into the room and we were exhausted from the day. I told him we'd just stay put, but I was truly disappointed since the last room was so nice. I know you are redoing your rooms as we stayed in an updated room a week and a half ago. It was very nice and worth the money. You should not be charging the same amount for room that is so inferior, and you know it because you are updating. At most, you should charge half of the rate for a similar updated room. Unfortunately, LaQuinta should not even have a room this bad. With an updated room, this is a 4 or 5 rating.

Front staff was not very inviting. Maybe it was a bad day. Room was spacious, bed was okay. Water was really hot, which I like.

Room layout was nice & the bed was comfortable. Clean & friendly staff. The location is by a highway & there is nothing within walking distance for dining or entertainment. Our view was of the entrance roof. Comfortable enough, but a bit lackluster in location.

Room was great. The only thing I can say is that our shower head needed to be replaced. Other than that, great hotel and would stay there again

Beautiful well maintained property. Outside very well lit, and safe feeling. Staff was impeccable and were able to make adjustments for my handicap partner. Would definitely recommend.

I needed a disability room, I actually got a room the was intentionally planned to accommodate my special needs. Thank You Gothenburg Comfort Suites.

Areas

The Internet and television did not work during our stay. When we called the front desk we were told the whole area was out of Internet. In the morning the breakfast area had the TV working and yet we were never able to get our TV to turn on and the wifi kept kicking us off after 30 seconds. It seemed like the hotels bandwidth was not enough to support a full hotel.

The Tv only worked for a short time and then altogether not available. Couldn’t watch the nba finals. Disappointing. Water in workout room empty, tv didn’t work in workout room. Hand sanitizer stations were empty. However, Kenny at desk very helpful and nice.

This is the my second stay in a comfort suites hotel and the AC has left the room feeling wet. I am writing this review from a different hotel where the weather is hotter and my room is cool and dry. The gym was just a few pieces of cardio equipment. The person on the third floor above my room may have been practicing judo or the soundproofing is just that bad. Breakfast was nice. If I had to do it again, I would have driven to my next stop and stayed there.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I am never disappointed. Employees are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the biscuits and gravy for breakfast are great!
