Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Roanoke, VA

When I first arrived at the time of check in, the lobby was full of customers and luggage waiting for their rooms. No one seemed happy. I sat with the others in the common area for at least an hour if not longer to finally be told my room was ready. It was hot in there. A staff member could have adjusted the air conditioner to make everyone more comfortable while we waited. Everyone was fanning themselves. Children crying. The man at the desk was polite and nice. He was very welcoming. This was 5/11 around 3pm. Now the next morning, I get up and go down to have breakfast, the cleaning staff and I’m not sure who else was all standing around speaking Spanish, laughing, staring at the customers eating. Some of them even grabbed food and sat down and ate too. I went to grab some food and the biscuits were hard as a rock! I picked one up and even tapped it on the table. It was rock solid! So I grabbed a different one, same thing. I throw them in the trash. I grabbed an egg and the egg was fried, I took one bite and it tasted as if it was made 3 days ago. That went in the trash too. I grabbed my bags and just left deciding to go and eat breakfast elsewhere. When I went up to the reception desk to turn in my room keys 5/12 the woman behind the desk was on her personal phone, No good morning, no thank you for coming, nothing. I set my keys on the counter and she didn’t even get up, she didn’t even look at me until I walked past her and then she lifted her head. Terrible service.

Great stay and our son enjoyed the pool!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Unsure about property maintenance; our bathroom door handle fell off when we opened the door.

Our room was very comfortable and seemed to be recently updated! The employees were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very adequate.

Any time we go out to Roanoke we are sure to book this hotel and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly the check in is always a breeze, the property inside and out always well kept. The rooms ate quiet and clean and beds are always comfortable.

Comfortable bed, big room, clean, reasonably priced.

We stayed 5 nights. I was asked if I wanted housekeeping and stated that I would like to have someone come in once. The only thing that housekeeping did was to change our towels and only left 3 towels. Did not make beds or change sheets, empty the trash. We had to empty trash twice. Dont know if they were short handed....construction going on so it was noisy also. Not sure I would stay there again

Comfortable beds

The curtains in my room were severely ripped, creating an uninviting atmosphere despite the overall cleanliness of the space. Furthermore, when we arrived for breakfast at 6 AM, we were disappointed to find that the food was served cold, which was unexpected and quite unappetizing. This combination left a lasting negative impression on our stay.

About a 50 minute drive from Lane Stadium without traffic. About 90 minutes with event traffic. Very clean. Wifi worked well. 4 EV charging stations.

The staff was very friendly, the room was super clean. Checking in and checking out was a breeze…I would definitely stay here again!!

The beds were not comfortable and old

Liked the pool, breakfast, late checkin and the cleanliness of the room. Especially appreciated Coneisha on the front desk. She was very helpful, polite & professional in answering my reservation questions.

Lovely hotel with excellent accommodations. Beds were comfortable, bathroom well planned with plenty of counter space on the vanity. Typical hot breakfast with several choices of cereal, eggs, waffles, etc. Pleasant staff.

Would like to stay again

Hotel was really nice and had great amenities such as the continental breakfast (great selection) and the pool. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is located in a great area - right off the interstate, near shopping and restaurants, and near the Blue Ridge Mountains. They upgraded us from a Queen to a King. Overall, very satisfied.
