Courtyard by Marriott New York Downtown Manhattan/Financial District

My hot water never worked. Complained several times. Phone didn’t work in the room. Noisy elevator clinking all day and night. Heard people talking through the vent. Tried to put heat on, only cold air came out. I was sitting in the lobby and partially had my feet up, but not even really. Employee came over implying I wasn’t a guest here and when I said I was he told me to take my feet off the couch which I did. Later on the same night when I got back to my hotel same employee was fully laying on the couch with his feet up. So it’s okay for him to do that but not a guest who is paying to be here. Then he continued to blare a video on his phone full volume in the lobby while I was trying to talk to someone. Terrible expierance with this hotel and I won’t be staying again.

The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable and staff very nice. I would say to extend breakfast hours and hotel bar to later times.

Very bad experience front desk boy and lady manager both are rude In room not a coffee cup Ph was not working I have an emergency to early check out they didn't refund my money Be aware any body booked this property make sure they didn't co operate even though if you have family emergency I don't recommend this property because any one or any where if some think happens they dont care

Great stay the staff was great room was very clean had enough space the negative comments I will suggest people to ignore and experience it for themselves I almost let the bad reviews talk me out of a great location.

Different subway stations very near to the hotel.

Nice place to stay, nowhere to put a coat, closet and the dining is for rich people $40 for a chicken.

I am very dissatisfied with this hotel! I had 3rooms for 3 nights, these rooms were terrible, they are very small, we had no space in the room to open our suitcase, we had to lift it onto the bed! The rooms were not cleaned, we went to the reception to get clean towels, the staff is very rude, we left an email to get an answer, a month passed and no one answered us! We had a group of friends in this hotel, there was no place for us to all sit together, there is not even a sofa in the lobby to sit on, we were offered to go up to the 3rd floor to the additional lobby, they did not let us in there for no reason, they said it was closed, there was no place in any room for the 5 of us to spend time together, we paid the most expensive price for 1 night, more than $600, it was the worst experience with this hotel, we asked for a discount, the rooms were very smoky, and the smell of smoke came from the neighboring rooms into our room, when we asked to change our room, they did not respond, the view from the room was the most terrible, to the neighboring house for people in the windows, where we could see how someone is sleeping we asked to be given the opportunity to go to another room at least so that we could take a photo or video of the view from the window, because we paid a lot and there is nothing to even take a photo of, they refused us for 3 days, they said ok tomorrow morning, when we We came in the morning, they said come in the evening I don't recommend anyone to stay her

Good central location in the financial district. Overall we felt safe in this part Manhattan.

All good, no complaints. Small room with comfortable double beds, quiet enough area to not be bothered by police sirens all night long. Clean and tidy. Reasonably priced for New York.

Please provide breakfast for courtyard too

The property is great but the rooms are extremely small for the price and the $200 deposite on top of the actual bill is a hit
