Staff was excellent. Left item in room at checkout; when clean up crew found it, we were immediately contacted by phone. Item returned in perfect condition.

The worker that checked me in was very pleasant and nice. We've stayed at this property before and never had a good experience with the person who checks us in. We stayed a couple of nights but the rooms really need to be updated. The furniture is old and the bed was a little hard. Also there was rust on the towel hangers and the toilet tissue holders. If your just staying here for a night, it's ok. But I don't think this place would be good for a family. We only were in the room to sleep so we were ok with it.

It was filthy. Shower had no pressure, the coffee pot was filthy, the sink was dirty! The room was not stocked, the towels were super thin!

We came for KU graduation so the price at this motel was roughly 3 times higher than normal. The floor was not carpet it was wood so we thought it would be cleaner. My white socks turned brown on the bottoms so i had to keep my shoes on while in the motel. The tv and microwave were a struggle turn on and stay on. The shower pressure was good.

The bathroom counter top was broke and falling, the tv was partially hanging on the wall, looks like it had fallen, there was mold all around the bathroom tub and the bathroom door was broke and split all towards the bottom.

(1) rooms on the Iowa street side has very loud noise of the traffic. Window (single layer glass ) and door do not not seal well making you feel sleeping on the traffic road. I could not sleep and went to stay in my car which is Parker much closer to traffic and much quieter than the hotel room
(2) the room was renovated recently with nice plank floor. But the furniture problem were picked up from trashcan side. I have seen this broken chair, rusted fridge, cracks desk. I have taken photos, but Expedia does not provide photo up loading option for review.
(3) it took about 10minutes of running shower water to get hot water. Actually the water can be very hot, if you are patient enough to wait for the water run (wasting a lot water, which feel too wasteful.

Are room would be good for a drug deal or a hook up it was not somewhere you want to go just to go somewhere it was nasty, and the sheets were stained and dirty
