Discovery Inn

The room looks a little dirty but the smell is bad.

Discovery Inn was a comfortable stay. We will be making it our routine stay whenever we are in that area.

Frank is the only reason we stay there. He is nice and rakes care of us

It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Also, to know ahead of time the pool/spa were closed.

Smells bad, dirty floors I don’t recommend that hotel

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Upon arrival I was told because my hotels.com profile name on the receipt did not match my ID, I needed to call a number, that they providede, (they said it was hotels.com customer service, it was NOT,) I was asked a.TON of personal info to verify my identity. By the end of the phone call my debit card had so many random fraudulent charges my bank blocked my account and cancelled my card. Because I could not verify my identity (due to the fact that the # the verification line gave me was disconnected, after they fraudulently ran my card) They rerented the same room for the same nights to my husband... at a higher price. This was happening to others as well, and we warned them NOT to call the number, it was fraud. The hotel was sketchy at best and the room was worse. So many things were broken and when the sink would not drain, they told my husband to get a plunger and fix it... Je flat refused to do so. Stained bedding, no blankets, only sheets, and a.duvet cover, but no duet. A microwave so old it had a dial. A broken and iced over fridge and freezer, broken towel bars and furniture. The floors in front of the plugged up sink was so spongey it felt like you might step through the floor. No TV guides, no "extras" like pens, paper, Bible, welcome brouchers about what to do while your visiting the area. NOTHING. Says pool and hot tub....NOPE... Only after May. Run do not walk away from this hotel.

The first night was nice but rest the time there homeless people would hangout in the stairwell and in the parking lot. Also there was alot of yelling and big dog barking.

I was no longer able to go and wanted to speak to someone about this and I waited and waited and no one ever was available to talk to about this and it was very frustrating.

The beds were very hard. Bed had a metal frame around it that made noise with any movement on the bed. The bathroom was dirty with liquid spills down the door.

Very good quick service

The 1st room was absolutely filthy/gross. Blood stains on the floor had come back up after they cleaned it & it was a large amount. Thats all you could smell was blood. The walls were dirty, tables and appliances abused and beaten up. There was pee on the toilet seat when we arrived. We were able to change rooms & the 2nd room was polar opposite. Clean, remodeled, new appliances, bright & comfy. Unfortunately, people were knocking on our window throughout our stay & no matter the time, there were people hanging around the vehicles outside. My main complaint is they refuse to refund my $60 deposit. I've been a maid before, the room was cleaned before we checked out & neither of us smoke, so there is no reason they should keep the deposit. I've had Expedia check on it several times & there's always a different excuse. Its been months now & still no refund. Pay attention to the reciept, it states you must get your refund during checkout or you forfeit. We were told by the clerk though that it would be refunded back to our account within 20 days. I didn't think they were lying about actually doing it. The bank says they've never attempted to refund anything. The hotel says to contact the front desk but that hasnt done any good. Just excuses.

It was a cool spot besides hearing the ppl walking above me other than that it was chill

The worst place I've stayed! First thing walking in you can smell the humidity and the mold. Everything is broken, dirty and falling apart. The worst service I've ever had, I called for housekeeping to get toilet paper and cleaning in the room three different times and was yelled at by the man at the front desk the third time I called. "Why didn't you call earlier housekeeping is off now. If you need paper come to the office." I wasn't gonna argue with a grown man whether I called or not. After calling multiple times. Trashes outside everywhere overflowing. Just a dirty place in general.

Absolutely the worst place to stay was not very clean the door did not lock the bathroom door was broken lights did not work said. No refrigerator in the room no towels in the room.

This property is infested with cockroaches and drug deals at every hour of the night and management doesn’t do anything about it

This is a very unsafe area. Homless people walking around. People living in rooms full time. Not very clean. Holes in walls and doors. Dirty walls and lights. The Microwave was white, but it was so old it was yellow. You can hear everything in the hallway while in your room. The photos on the website are not accurate for the rooms. Be aware!

Love the fact it's remodeled and cleaned up from last time. Very impressed. Great job cleaning up the strays out of parking lot too. Still a few meandering around but for the most part it's safe and quiet.

Place was good, service was the Best part.

I did not like the room. The door only had one lock, the blankets smelled like urine and the bathroom shower did not drain. There was mold on the ceiling and the window. On top of all of that I felt unsafe in the area. The staff were amazing very helpful and kind.
