Hotel was great. Room was great, indoor pool was great. Multiple lounge areas was great. Nothing close to the hotel. Hotel as an extremely large parking lot. It was packed we ended up parking on grass.

The rooms need serious updating. The tubs look dirty and fixtures are rusted. The carpets has stains and the bed skirts need to be thrown away they were stained and old. The WHOLE hotel just need to be updated. You should not have customers staying in rooms that has carpet that is dirty like that. The price should be more for a motel 6 not representing the Hilton brand. Other than that at least the shuttle came on time. He drive like a maniac. Oh food and drink prices are ridiculous as well. DO BETTER HILTON. This is coming from a Honors member glad I didn’t waste my points on this stay.

My stay here was overall pretty good except for the shuttle driver. He complained that I had too much luggage and that “I had better tip” him. I was planning on tipping him very well, and still tipped him because he did put my luggage in the truck, but demanding that a customer should tip is beyond rude.

I was there cause my daughter had a concert at the Prudential Center. So we were there for one night.
The room was clean, comfortable. The bathroom is small but clean. My one complaint of the room is we only got 2 towels.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a drink at the bar and it guys there were also very nice and helpful.
I would definitely be staying here again.

Paying 25/day to park, and 25/day for breakfast is terrible, especially when the Holiday Inn next-door is free parking and breakfast. The hotels across the street are the same free parking, and free continental breakfast the ones that have restaurants.

Nothing is accessible around the hotel area. Although the inside was very beautiful, the staff was excellent, but I had to change rooms because my showerhead didn’t work and the new room, there was no pressure I had to stand almost in froof the shower to take a shower.

It's very busy here. The pool is large and indoor so the good people of Newark like to come here for that. My only gripe was that I paid at check in (about $145) and the front desk attendant said there will be a $75 hold on your card until check out. The next day after check out I had TWO charges. One for the $145 and another for $220. Instead of doing one charge for $220 and then refunding me the $75. These charges were in my account for 3 days. That's unacceptable. Eventually they reversed the $220 after I called.
