Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center

This was my first time staying at an ES. First, I do like the amenities and the conveniences of the ES: -the cool setup where every floor’s balcony faces onto the atrium (instead of outward from the building) -the proximity to the highway, food shops, etc -happy hour for adults each day (2 complimentary alcohol beverages) -food was delicious and the staff were always happy to help. However, I do think the property overall needs an uplift. There were some areas in the public spaces that clearly needed some attention and cleaning throughout. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would definitely consider staying again.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staffs. Would give 5 stars if the sink was not clogged and the bathtub wall were clean.

The customer service is poor. When I called the front desk I got an automated response. Someone from front desk was supposed to call me back. I made several requests and no one called me back.

Very nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was amazing. All of the staff (especially,Blessing, at the front desk) were super nice and helpful.

With outside temperatures close to 100 degrees, aI was looking for a nice place to hang with my son. I was dropping him off for College orientation and was hoping to find a place I could stay each time I came to visit him. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. The worst part was no air conditioning. I called 4 times and was never offended a room change. Finally got a loud fan to help cool a bit but too loud for a good nights sleep. Plus. had to pay for parking and wifi. Out of the 3 elevators only 1 was working. Will not stay here again. I will be searching for a new place

Awesome, loved the area and the hospitality and service was great.

Ac was not working for over. 4 hours. Requested another room and was told i had to give them 30 more minutes to fix the problem due to wrong room number was entered by staff. Finally around 10pm ac is working. Then to learn no towels was put into room. Call front desk and was greeted by automatic and was told towels would be delivered. No towels were delivered. All this occurred while staying on 10th floor Premium suites. Walked down to front desk 5am to get towels myself. ALWAYS enjoy staying at Embassy but this last stay i was just ready to leave.

We had an amazing time at your hotel. Your staff was great. Everyone was so nice and respectful, especially the BREAKFAST crew and whoever covered the seventh floor for the entire week we stayed thank you.

Had to pay for separate parking

My stay was wonderful. I love the staff, and I was able to check in after midnight.

The hotel is overall a really nice hotel ! Outside was very clean and the lobby was clean in my room there was some minor work needing to be done the caulking around the tub area was sloppy. There was a patched up hole on the bottom of the tub.

We love embassy suites. We stayed five days in Washington DC at an embassy suites before coming to stay four days here. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Day one for breakfast the gentle man was grabbing the vegetable at the omelet station with his hands and it was very messy which made my breakfast unappealing. Omelet had to be sent back as it was not cooked all the way. Day two we didn’t even go down for breakfast. Third day we went down at 920 and was told by the staff that they were already shutting down but he would go ahead and made us one but that he did take cash app tips. Totally inappropriate. Did not receive new towels or clean up service for our third day. Finally last night there there was loud music that was not addressed from 1130-2pm. Our flight left Norfolk at 0600 so we had to get up at three. Super disappointed in this embassy suites.

Typical hotel stay but there was a conference going on, usually no big deal. But only one elevator out of three was working and we got stuck 3 times because the door would t open. They said they were working on it but all weekend it was something. Also be prepared to pay $10/day to park to a company that isn’t Embassy Suites. The water at the restaurant and in the rooms taste horrible and the only option we were offered was to buy Evian water at $4/bottle. Expected way more from Embassy Suites.

It has Changed and the quality service is not there anymore

Love this hotel. Friendly staff, great ambience and amenities!

I liked the property's convenience to the Convention Center however I was awakened by yelling, screaming and flashing police lights due to a disturbance outside my window in the Embassy Suites parking lot. I was accommodated for the inconvenience after sharing my concerns with additional Hilton Honor points however I will not be returning to that location to stay.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay! Property was well managed and very clean
