Embassy Suites by Hilton Indianapolis North

We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Indianapolis for a family trip and were a bit disappointed with the experience. While the location is definitely a plus-close to several restaurants and convenient for getting around— the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The rooms felt outdated and in need of a refresh, and the pool was unfortunately not well-maintained and didn't feel clean. One of the biggest letdowns was the front desk service— staff were not friendly and barely acknowledged us during check-in, which set a negative tone right from the start. Overall, while the location was convenient, the condition of the hotel and lack of welcoming service would make me hesitant to recommend it

The property was undergoing some renovation and construction; however, the staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Everything was fine until i got the bill and found the 1 small milk i got at check in tocharge to room was 13.00 plus a 3.00 tip. I think i was ripped off by your clerk

Staff was rude. No eye contact, didnt speak clear, didnt greet you as we walked in. Was told at 4 it would be 30 mins because my room wasnt ready. Went back in 30mins and was told it still wasnt ready, which in turn made me late for my event.

The hotel is dated, room was clean except a huge obvious stain on sofa couch, carpet was dirty and had huge stains by elevator. The pool was very busy as a bday party was there so not usable. At 5am, we awoke to intercom saying to evacuate immediately. We were on 6th floor, so did so. All the residents were standing along balcony looking for direction. No one from staff was around. After awhile, Someone yelled “it’s clear”, no clue if staff or resident. There were firemen walking the halls. About 45 minutes later, intercom said “fireman said it’s all clear. By then we decided to just check out and left by 6am. Never staying inside the loop again.

This was not a good stay. I’ll start with the positives which is the breakfast and afternoon snacks were pretty good. The room itself was not up to my standards. The bathroom shower curtain was dirty. The shower rod was loose causing the shower curtain to drape to the middle. Causing water to drip on the floor, which I had to get up. Next there’s was a balcony full of standing water, which leaked into the room causing my bag to get wet and I stepped in which was disgusting. I’m addition to that leak, water was leaking from the ceiling. This was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t use the pool because it was closed due to cleaning, which was out of service for a whole day- unacceptable. Spoke to the manager and received half off one night stay , which was a half way decent fix. I would never stay at this Embassy again. This is an embarrassment to the brand.

Staff/service was excellent! Breakfast was fresh & hot. Enjoyed the Mgr's evening reception. Room temp can ONLY be adjusted by the hotel so either too cold or too hot.

The room set up was great, since we have two older kids. It's nice to have the sleeper sofa. One of the elevators was slow and a little scary to be in because it would hesitate before settling and opening.

Manager was FANTASTIC and she welcomed us so kindly and made my birthday special and went above and beyond and even gave us a free meal. We will definitely be staying here again in the future and a large part of that reasoning is because of her. THANK YOU!!!!

The chef named Mike made very tasty omelettes and he was really nice and I liked the bartenders. I did not like the big tall guy that was creepily lurking around the chefs. We were told that the restaurant was closed on Friday due to an event that was happening on Saturday, but on Saturday evening, the restaurant wasn’t open, which was disappointing because we wanted to eat there. Karaoke night was really fun and I appreciated the late checkout.

Only 2 of the 4 elevators were working, for most of the weekend. Swimming pool room flooring is slippery, baby fell and hit his head. Room couches were stained and dirty, found a woman's hairs everywhere. Otherwise everyone at hotel was great.
