Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel and Conf Ctr

Staff did great with check-in.Our problem came with Expedia had not sent our reservation to hotel with that being said I will never use Expedia again

This was, hands down, the worst hotel experience I’ve had. We booked a “Premium Suite” expecting quality but found it to be filthy, stained, and uncomfortable. Both beds had what appeared to be blood or bodily fluid stains, unchanged sheets, and mattresses so old they sagged and hung off the frames. The furniture was chipped, dirty, and uncomfortable. The cheapest toilet tissue was used, and single-ply. The thermostat was broken—swinging between sauna and freezer—and mold was visible in the bathroom. We woke up with bite-sized welts on our legs, suggesting pests. The Keurig pods were stale or expired, and the beverages were undrinkable. Lightbulbs were out, and lampshades were stained. “Premium” amenities? Nonexistent. The complimentary breakfast was of low quality, featuring bargain-bin food and little care. Worst of all, management promised follow-up after we complained—yet we never heard back. One bright spot: a responsive housekeeping staff member quickly changed the sheets upon request. However, overall, this room was unacceptable at nearly $230 for a single night. Embassy Suites used to stand for something. Not anymore. I’d avoid this location entirely if visiting Omaha. This was supposed to be part of our July 4th family vacation—making memories, not dealing with mold, filth, and sleeplessness. For a Hilton-brand hotel, the experience was shameful. The whole stay felt like corporate greed over guest care. It's not worth the price or the stress.

Excellent stay! Staff was very friendly and the hotel was superb. The pool was clean. Very nice breakfast with loads of options. We will be back on our next trip to Omaha!

Great experience at Embassy Suites! Such a fun place to get to experience with the kids. The breakfast was super fun and such a reasonable rate for the whole thing!

All was great except breakfast was not good

Just ok, hotel is of i-80 and about 15min from Omaha downtown. My wellness suite has an air purifier which is good, but has certain noise level, so I turned it off for sleep. Room said sleep 4 but I only counted 3 pillows. TV was unplugged because remote was missing or so. Brown carpet can hide a lot but still can see there where stain and dirt. Noisy toilets flush and its very loud refilling noises came from next rooms during the night and early morning, I guessed those guests heard the same noise came from my room. The waterfall in the lobby is an nive deco but I found it to noisy too.

Great place to stay.

We enjoyed our third stay here. The staff is amazingly helpful and nice. ( especially Jenna in the breakfast section and Joy at the Nines Bar. They couldn’t have been nicer and they both made our stay greater than it could have been).

The hotel was quite nice as always, as we alway stay at this hotel whenever we come to Omaha. However the number of children booked at the hotel was unbelievable. They were unattended and especially unruly. Next time I book, I’ll check the reservations for children in the hotel while we plan to book!

This hotel is very old and they haven't updated anything, including the beds. The worst thing in our room was the carpet. It was just filthy. Gross. Our sink didn't drain very welI. I told the cleaning woman in charge of our floor and she said she'd get it fixed. Nope. Room 404 On Memorial Day they had no muffins, bakery or yogurt for breakfast saying they had been "hammered" that weekend. Well, it was a holiday weekend and they weren't prepared, not an excuse. Would never stay here again.

Loved our room, the breakfast and coffee lounge. The only thing we didn’t like was the kids running around the hotel. But other Then that it was a wonderful stay!

Everything was great about the property, our only complaint was that the shower water temp was cold.

The ac was loud. Had to pay for parking.
