Expedition Lodge Moab Arches National Park

Excellent retro-minded place. We like the slide at swimming pool (and open late), the complementary old-timer arcade, ping pong table, etc. The 50s decoration is great. Breakfast too

Breakfast was excellent…waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit and good coffee. Major plus of my stay. AC was loud (ok because I had earplugs) but worked very well, which was very much appreciated because it was super hot in Moab the night I stayed there. Easy check-in and check-out. Me and my Labrador enjoyed our stay. A++++ all the way.

Great property with a good breakfast. They had a nice pool with a water slide and even a small arcade with some classic games and a table tennis setup. Nice place with three beds which was nice since it was three guys traveling together.

Loved the Retro decor and the throw back vibe. Three queen beds for a girls trip was amazing. Great location to national parks.

In Moab while experiencing Arches and Canyon Lands we decided to spend the night. Of course we always travel with our dog Max and so the search began. Most "pet friendly" motels charged a whopping $70 per night for a dog. Not what i call friendly. But we found the Expedition Lodge that was not only pet friendly but welcomed dogs with no fee. On check in the vlerk was friendly, moved us to an upstairs rooom. This was once a Travel Lodge then a Rodeway before current owners took it over and renovated. The place has a funky 50s vibe of Happy Days and is extremely family friendly. It had a very nice pool with a dynamite slide and an arcade with ping pong and video games. The room was very clean with two queen beds, retro fridge and microwave. Red tuffets sate at the end of each bed for sitting ir luggage plus a chair. The floors are quality plank vinal and clean. The bathroom was a kick with a huge tub shower and toilet in 60s avocado green. Uograded shower head. Upgraded thru the wall ac kept the room very cool with a minimum og noise. Double paned windows. Breakfast include standard coninental fare PLUS hard boiled eggs, waffles you make plus Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. It was very good. Breakfast room is good sized with vinal records on the wall. Fun. Yes it is an older motel right on main street so there is some street noise. Yes it is not luxury. But this is a very nice, clean place to stay with your pet and or family. Highly recommended.

Expedition Lodge was a great place to stay in Moab. It was super clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and kind. It had a fun vibe with ping pong, game room and the pool! Breakfast was perfect with good coffee and lots of choices to eat.

The rooms are very nostalgic and very clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and would recommend to others.

We had an amazing time staying here! We traveled with a ten year old and she loved the pool and arcade. The staff was great and the rooms were retro but clean and modern. We will stay again for sure

We love this place and we always come back and stay here when we visit Moab. It’s great for our large family. The pool and slide are always fun. The pool can get crowded at times. Our visits are in July. Clean room, great cleaning service. Some people were littering in the parking lot. Breakfast options were great. -would like if eggs could not only be boiled. Walking along the main road and being close to the restaurants and shops was another highlight and having that option being right there is fantastic.

The room was as nice as the promotion. I would advise them unstop the bathtub drain.

Very lively motel,very good for families with kids. It is a motel on a good conditions with nice staff,decent rooms,clean and on the main road close to all restaurants and stores. The breakfast it is ok and the breakfast room it is the nice and colorful breakfast room you ever see.

This is such a family friendly hotel! We have been to Moab 3 times and always stay here!

This place is great. We had 4 queens it was perfect. Price was fantastic. Pool is small but has a waterslide very fun. Breakfast included - you get a lot for the money.

This was our third stay at Expedition Lodge. We enjoy the multiple bed rooms, the pool was most welcome on this 100° day, and the breakfast is plentiful with a lot of variety.

I will personally place this property on my top 3 best places to stay! Loved the details, retro look, clean, the staff was polite, professional and friendly. I just loved all of it! They are truly working hard to make sure the place is nice and family friendly. Loved it!!
