Frontier Hotel Pawhuska

This was the cutest historical hotel.

Beautiful large room with kitchen. Very comfortable with large screen TV. Located in the center of Pawhuska main street.

Love the old building with modern accommodations. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

This is such a beautiful place to stay. It’s an old building that’s been renovated beautifully. It’s clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff is friendly. It’s quite possibly my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at in the United States. It’s also right across from the amazing food at the Merc. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

There to see the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile. Hotel is right across the street. Was disappointed to learn that it doesn’t have parking, as advertised. Was instructed to “park in the police parking lot or use the Merc parking. Our room was not my fave of the choices (decor-wise), but it was clean and comfortable.

Enormous rooms with kitchen and amenities. Very lovely decorated. Love Ms. Sue. Very helpful and friendly!

Convenient location for all Pawhuska has to see and do. Room was located on a corner of the triangle building so had great views. Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable…luxurious suite.

We were supposed to check in on Sunday. Not knowing the entire town shuts down on Sunday, no restaurants, stores, bars, nothing is open. We got to the hotel at noon, they said we could check in at 3. One place was open until 2 for lunch so we were able to get lunch. We go back to the hotel at 1:30 to see if we could watch the US Open in the lobby, no Tv. We had to sit in our car until 3. I think it’s terrible that the rooms are ready, but they won’t let you in early knowing there is absolutely no place to go on Sunday. We drove 10 hours to get there and this was the reception we got, wait in your car. We ended up leaving, losing our money for the night and going on with the rest of our trip. We will not be back. Hospitality would have been to let us in since literally nothing is open in the entire town on Sunday. Lesson learned

This is the best location for easy, walkable shopping in the downtown area. It's 20 steps from the Merc. Interesting building history and architecture, but all modern amenities inside.

Located right in the heart of downtown Pawhuska, the Frontier is just steps away from all the action. It's directly across the street from The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, plus tons of cute shops and local restaurants. The landscaping throughout town is gorgeous, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Whether you’re in town for a quick visit or a longer stay, I highly recommend the Frontier. You won’t be disappointed!
