The property was conveniently located with EASY access to the ski lifts. We had a fabulous view from the 6th floor. The valet service made parking a breeze. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The front desk staff (JD) and his front desk Manager (Bryan) were helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back this Christmas!

We’ve stayed at the Grand Summit multiple times and always appreciate the great staff and amenities. I do think they need to add at least one more hot tub - probably 2! But all in all the pool area is fabulous - especially the heated main pool! The rooms are nice as well and we love that we can get a one bedroom suite and there’s still space for our family of four to sleep - and it has two bathrooms!! I’d definitely recommend a stay here!

We have arrived at the property and there was really no one there as it was considered off-season. The room was very nice, every morning at 7 AM. They were loud construction cranes and semi’s constantly going up and down the road outside the window that woke us up consistently. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for a restaurant and things to do around the area.

When we arrived we were notified that the pool was being refinished and there would be no AC. Then when we got to the room the area immediately outside of our window was under major construction. The view was horrible. There were three excavators and a semi-dump truck outside working extremely noisily before 7:00am the following morning. We could not sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable, and they stock with good coffee. No refrigerator, no microwave. We only found one restaurant open, even from the list Google says were open. Loud construction in the garage, but at least that started at 9am. Staff was pleasant enough, but had little to no information about the construction or facilities. Onsite sauna was closed, which was the biggest deal for us - that's why we chose this location over others. May be fine during the season, if you can find any indication of when that is. Don't stay here in April at any rate, if you want any amenities.

Staff do very little to make sure you are happy. Loimited communication between hotel staff and patrons regarding events / activities.
Went for week leading up to NYE, was told by person directly outside of hotel we could just show up at event that evening. I called to verify and were told that was not true but had already cancelled reservations. They said the people outside the lobby do not know anything and dont work with resort.. No effort to help patrons at all. Rude management/ staff. Loved Utah but would not recommend/ stay at Summit.

Big issue is arrogance about housekeeping
Will only do after 3 nights and no flexibility
They will not do if u not ready when they arrive. If u miss on day 3 they will not do on day .Room rate is not cheap and would expect better service

I was unhappy with the lack of housekeeping. I rented a 2-bedroom suite for top dollar. One would expect there would be daily housekeeping which was not the case.

The hotel is incredibly well situated for a ski-in, ski-out experience at Canyons. While we were there, however, the primary elevator was out of order for 3 days. We had to walk (and carry ski equipment) up stairs that also led us right through/past the restaurant kitchen. Assuming this is fixed, we'd stay here again -- but while we were here, it was a notable inconvenience especially with kids and their gear.
