Hampton Inn and Suites Albany-Airport

Was super easy to find. Very convenient to get to spac. Will definitely stay again next summer!

Nice stay

Let me start with the positive. The room itself was very nice. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. The poor is the service. The hotel's website states that the complimentary airport shuttle is available from 6 am-11 pm. To confirm, we made a 7 pm phone call to the hotel and were told the shuttle ran until 10:30 pm. When we arrived at the airport at 9:00 pm, the front desk person said they were the only one there and that we should take an Uber and would be reimbursed. We did that and emailed them the receipt it took 5 days before they responded. I was told they would credit my credit card that evening. Five days past and still no credit. I called at ~8 pm. I was put on told for over 20 minutes because the person who answered was the only one there (which presumably meant that the shuttle would be again unavailable). When they finally got back to my call they did send me a receipt that showed that my card had been credited that day or 5 days after promised. In short, if you want to be able to trust what is written and you are told, book a different hotel.

Great all around

Was here for a Dave Matthews concert with my wife. Would we stay here again? Yes, absolutely. Was it the best Hampton Inn we have ever visited? Not necessarily. The bottom line is the room was tolerable and clean, but it was a little sterile, especially the bathroom area. The best way I can describe it is that it felt more like a Fairfield Inn than a Hampton Inn, if that makes any sense.

The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The check in process is smooth and stress free. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of options. The location is easy to get to and close to

Nice hotel but the breakfast is not so good. Its very basic.

Third time staying here and absolutely very clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating

Loved our room and the ample space it provided. Only issue was the laundry facilities only took quarters and they didn’t have the cash to make change so we didn’t get to do laundry. It would be nice to be told at check-in that quarters would be needed for laundry.

Overall, the hotel was good. Pool was a bit cloudy with some weird hairy looking particals floating around.

Bathroom was pretty gross. Floor was dirty and the part of the tub that met the floor was stained. Bathroom cabinet was peeling, due to no fan in the bathroom. Beds and pillows were fine, breakfast was fine, location was fine.
