I can’t really comment about the property. We arrived after an early evening flight from Seattle, drove to Midtown, only to hear that the hotel had oversold our room. I had only heard about airlines overselling but never have experienced it with hotels. It was Labor Day weekend, and we didn't get notified until we showed up at the front desk. The staff was apologetic--it's not their fault, it's Hampton's policy--so we weren't rude. They transferred us to a hotel in Dunwoody, kind of farther than we expected to be. But the hotel was nice (a Marriott property), new (8 months old), and it was comped due to the oversell of our original room. We had the choice to stay in the new property the next night or move back to Midtown. We stayed at the new hotel. It was cheaper than the original hotel, so overall it saved us money.

Utterly unprofessional staff. Property overbooked their guests. When we arrived we were informed that the hotel got overbooked and they will not be able to accommodate us. We drove for almost 7 hours to reach Atlanta and this is what our hotel says!. The staff at the reception told us due to "technical difficulties" we are over booked. REALLY! After back and forth they agreed to send us to a Hotel 10 miles from the original location in a part of city we did not even considered to stay and that too the room which was booked for us there did not had the amenities such as 2 separate beds that we originally requested. So now we had to figure out how to accommodate everyone on a single barely king size bed :(

The only disappointment we experienced is that there was no discount for parking or hotel room for folks that were visiting a patient at the Shepherd Center clinic. We were visiting our grandson who suffered a traumatic brain injury. Other hotels in the area offer both discounts and we will use those the next time we visit.

Overall the hotel was excellent. Convenient location across the street from a Marta location. Short uphill walk to some good options. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I were to list negatives it would be toilet paper is low quality and the barn doors on bathroom doors means anyone else in the room has the potential to see you. Neither are reasons not to stay at the location. Had a wonderful time.

We had a beautiful stay with a wonderful view of the city skyline. The level of security that the staff took from valet to the lobby on the top floor was very comforting. The rooftop lobby and eating area was just really cool. I will stay out of most of the Hamptons that I’ve stayed at the food was lacking. But for a free breakfast, I’m not gonna let that count against them.

$45 for parking, fire alarm went off at 11pm, the gym equipment (treadmills and peloton) run down, don't work properly. You can hear mice crawling in the walls of the gym. View are gorgeous. Room was good, shower was nice. Breakfast was boring. Bland everything. I know it's basic but even the sausage was bland. Waffles were ok, eggs... nothing special. Not for the price of this place. Save yourself the money, stay somewhere else. The amenities aren't worth it.

Valet parking was full, Was told to park in the parking garage next door. It was very confusing, once I parked, It wasn’t clear what level I needed to exit from. By the time I walked the bottom floor of the parking garage and realized that I needed to have exited leve 7 (none of that was explained) As i drug my bags back to the hotel, I was a sweaty mess. It was very unpleasant. With a little clarity in the direction given by the valet, one would know what to expect when parking in the adjacent garage. By the tine I checked in I was a bit frustrated. The air conditioner needed servicing which we didn’t notice until the room was quiet as we were trying to go to sleep. There was a constant whining noise. We probably could have complained and changed rooms but by then we were settled in and didn’t want to switch rooms for a one night stay.
