Elevators during busy hours are crazy. Forces to take the stairs from the 21st floor. Air conditioners are very noisy and turn off and on at different temperatures to regulate. Disturbs sleep for the people I was with. My AC broke and instead of moving me to another room, they repaired it with me there. Created a lot of mess and my room was left open and unattended. I didn’t have anyone makeup the room as a result. Breakfast is very hard to find seating for Location

The hotel was clean, tidy and very central to Times Square. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, simple basic choices, tea & coffee available throughout the day. The only negative was the lift situation. The hotel was very popular and busy and there were only 4 lifts. Overall not much to complain about, a little pricy for our 3 night stay but it was pretty much smack bang in Times Square.

our room wassail but nice, comfortable bed, nice TV. BUT the AC was loud and even though I turned down the thermostat to 68 it stayed at 70 and the room felt humid. it was an uncomfortable nights sleep.

I love everything about this hotel. Can’t wait to come back in November. Annnnnnnnd will definitely tell my family and friends about this Hampton Inn in New York City. Awesome……

We had a very nice stay. Weess here for 5 nights. The only thing i can say bad is. There is time in the day when the elevator can't keep up with the amount of people in the building. There is 6 elevators and they move fast through the 38 floors but it will stop at every floor, even if it is loaded to the max. Need to come up with a way to count have many people it has on it at one time. So it will keep traveling, if there is no more room on it.

Nice place

A very good hotel. The rooms are modern, it includes a good breakfast, and you're less than a minute from Times Square. You can't hear street noise, and they have hot water. The staff was very friendly. The only thing is that upon check-in, the room damage insurance was more than Expedia stated, but they promptly refunded it, and that's worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

We were located in the heart of all we wanted to do in NYC.

Huge hotel with many rooms- not enough elevator capacity. Waited as long as 15 minutes for an elevator to get down to lobby. Breakfast was good but so crowded it was hard to find a seat

Prime location if you are seeing something on broadway. Friendly staff and clean facility. Small rooms as expected in Manhattan. Some elevator delays at prime hours as others have mentioned, however seems that they do monitor this as there was a group of us waiting on the 22nd floor and a staff person came up on a service elevator to bring us to the lobby. Longest time I had to wait for an elevator during our 4 night stay was less than 10 minutes.. we also opted to take the stairs down twice which wasn’t too bad. The only real “critique” I would have is that we visited during a heat wave and our room remained pretty stuffy despite having the AC at the lowest setting. I definitely woke up sweating in the mornings. Would recommend.

It started off good until the second day when a heavy panel fell from then ceiling with a loud boom. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered twice at night while on the 34th floor. I had to go to the front desk to report the issue in my pajamas. It was replaced but the. The next day it start d drooping again

The elevator concept is horrible in the morning, which you will read in the reviews section. Breakfast ends at 10am and check out time is no later than 10am. So, you can imagine elevator traffic during that time will be jammed packed that leads to lots of frustration among hotel guests. Many guests including me will not return to this hotel anymore.

OK for the price, but the rooms are very, very small. Slow elevators and a congested environment for breakfast makes for less than an ideal experience.
