Hampton Inn Turlock

The lady that was there for my check in was very rude. She made me feel like I was not welcomed. I definitely will not be staying another night.

The staff was excellent! We especially liked Beeson, who welcomed us and got us checked in. He was so friendly and had us laughing. Everyone was so helpful!

Staff was very pleasant but something at the hotel was very noisy. It sounded like a semi-truck running outside the window all night long. Not sure if we were next to the boiler room or a generator room or what. The hot water was a slow start in the shower and the breakfast options were really limited.

At arrival we were told that hotel had been overbooked and we did not have a room for our family. Such an inconvenience, I expect to receive a refund for the inconvenience. We traveled with a large group for a soccer tournament.

Their phone system was down for at least one day. That complicated things. But friendly staff. I'd rate their free breakfast 6 or 7 (scale 1-10).

Good hospitality and safe place

There were stains on the pillows and pillow cases. There was no hand soap when i got there and had to ask the front desk for it. There were stains on the bathroom counter and on the carpet near the fridge. The top bath towel had obviously be used more frequently than the others as it was rougher and folded differently compared to the other two so i threw it on tbe geound tonremind myself NOT tobuse that one. They did provide plenty of towels and i did appreciate the makeup remover wipes that was a very nice addition. The staff were fine, i didnt interact with them much beyond checking in. The breakfast was...underwhelming. the scrambled eggs were sitting in an inch of water, the sausages were very greasy, and didnt have options for dietary restrictions sitting out, though they did have signs for you to ask the staff...if you could find one to help you. And with limited eating options in the area, it was a disappointing breakfast.

Property was clean. Think housekeeping was an issue.

I want to commend The Hampton Inn for being an actual hotel. It has become common for hotels to strip their rooms down to nothing but a bed and bathroom. It was refreshing to have ammenities and maid services. Thank you for continuing to service your customers and provide a comfortable stay.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. We were visiting family, so only used the room for showering and sleeping with a little TV time. Breakfast was a big plus. Saved time and money from having to go to a restaurant. We will stay here again😊

We’ve stayed at this hotel maybe 8-10 times to visit grandchildren in the area. Everything was just as expected and we especially loved the pool!

Clean rooms. About 30 mins away from UC Merced.
