Buffet breakfast was very good. I was a little worried it might be too crowded, but it was fine. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious. Location is very good to be within a mile if tge National Mall.

A life saver. Wonderful staff, laundry was great to have as an option, breakfast was wonderful, room was spotless, I slept like a rock there. Walked pretty much everywhere fairly easily. Would highly recommend. My only thing was I was charged a 100$ a night for my security deposit and that adds up immediately really. Other than a large deposit that I do expect to get back, amazing and totally worth it. Just plan to have the money for the deposit!!

Hotel is clean with facilities of heated pool, small gym, laundry machines, and free hot drink. Within walking distance to subway station, restaurant, supermarket. Close to union station (train and bus) and also the museums at national mall. Recommended for family vacation.

Rooms could use a bit of an update, felt older. One elevator stopped working while we were there so that made the wait times longer to get up and down the floors. The gym was very nice, had good equipment including treadmills, and bikes. Also had a nice selection of weights and kettlebells.

Overall really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn-Washington DC-Downtown--Convention Center. Convenient location just a few blocks from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station, short walk to the Capital One center, walking distance to a number of restaurants, 15 minute walk to the National Mall area (National Gallery of Art-West). Clean facilities, great complimentary breakfast, comfortable and clean room. Would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

I would only recommend that welcoming staff apprise guests of the need to request room cleaning if needed so one doesn't presume room cleaners will come on a daily basis. Other than that, I would highly recommend Hampton Inn to all my friends and family. People of all walks of life come and intermingle respectfully and the staff are very accommodating. Mr. ZAIRE
