Hilton Garden Inn Columbus/Polaris

Fine except Internet forced me to join Hilton honors to use it. Ended up using cell phone hot spot.

Great stay until

Our daughter moved to the area and we were here to help her shop and get settled. Hotel was near many many stores and restaurants. Check in was easy and pleasant. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was the hottest water I’ve ever felt out of a shower spout!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great. We did however feel somewhat unsafe due to people breaking into vehicles every night.

Busy weekend in Columbus with most every property sold out. Arrived at the Hilton Garden Columbus/Polaris to be told there was a "problem" with our room and that the manager had been trying to get in touch with us through Expedia since he arrived at work 2 1/2 hours earlier to tell us our room had been cancelled although I never received any contact. I believe our room was likely bribed out. I was offered a couple bottles of water for the inconvenience which I politely refused. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. Still awaiting a refund from Expedia although this process seems very difficult as well.

We actually really liked this hotel! It was super clean, the room was a nice size, and it was quiet! Our only complaint was the breakfast, the restaurant part was kinda pricey and we didn’t get what we asked for when it came out.

The hotel was very nice overall. Was able to hear a decent amount of noise from neighboring rooms. Pool was not available when we were there and they did inform us before checking in, but not before arriving at the property.

Pool was closed the whole weekend which was inconvenient especially for the price of the stay. Staff was amazing though.

Clean and tidy rooms, great staff that knew the surrounding area. Overall great stay for the night.

All was fine for a short stay but curious if it is now the American hotel normal procedure that the room is not refreshed each day? I would appreciate a response

Nice place near great restaurants and shopping and close enough to Columbus to stay but not have the congestion surrounding downtown traffic. I also met some friendly people at the hotel lobby bar while we watched the local sports.

This was supposed to be a handicap accessible room. Did not have a walk in shower. They only provided a seat for you to place in tub. Handicap bar located behind toilet tank? Toilet made noises all night. Sink in bathroom had little room for toiletries. No storage in bathroom. No safe in room. coffee pot only let you brew about a 6 ounce cup which made it very strong. Room purchased through Expedia so they would not give me points for a Hilton member which we were never made aware of. I have stayed at Hiltons before and they were very nice. This place was a disappointment and we were glad we were only there one night. Will look for a different hotel the next time I book. Bathroom in hotel lobby had 2 sinks that didn’t work and two toilets that were out of order. Didn’t even bother to go look at pool or use any other part of hotel.🙁
