Having a little balcony to take in the outdoors in relative privacy was a nice touch. The same experience would not be possible on the ground floor, although the street had relatively light traffic, whether pedestrian or vehicle.

Everything was good but we forgot a green tablet charging on the nightstand and they didn’t return it to us. I called the same day we noticed it and they didn’t say anything like they were going to look for it or ask cleaning staff or what not. They made me fill a form for lost and found items and we already left NY and they never called me back. What a shame to have staff that wouldn’t return a kids tablet

We arrived at 2am...the security guard was just standing there telling me use my card when clearly we had bags in hand and had not checked in after an extremely long day of bad weather and traveling. Then when we check in, we were just given the card and the room number. Had to ask which floor...with the assumption we already knew. Then when we got in the elevator, we pressed the button several times not knowing we had to use the room key to get to a floor. The security guard sarcastically told us and another person who didn't know that we had to use the card....knowing we were tired, upset, and echausted from the trip telling me to "think about why it wasn't working" with the implication that I was dumb. Wasn't exactly customer service. It was extremely hot on the floor, the blast of heat hits you in the face as soon as you come off the elevator. We were charged $2.00 for a cup of ice when there is ice on the floor for free. Then your site mentions no parking. I asked if there was a place where parking was for the hotel upon arrival and they said across the street is good. upon checkout I found that there is parking associated with the hotel....I paid an extra $155 for parking that wasn't associated and was told to go to Homewood Suites next door to see if they would give me a discount. All in all I chop it up to a New York State of Mind.

Hotel room was clean and quiet which is what we were hoping for. We were also within walking distance from all the sights you want to see so that was the main reason we booked this hotel. I wish there had been coffee in the room or offered downstairs but other than that it was fine.

Easy walk to Times Square and Broadway shows. Rooms showing wear: peeling wallpaper and dented lampshades. Bed is comfy however sleep wasn’t great because AC unit was unusually loud and noisy even on low. Wouldn’t stay here again because of that.
