My Family and I stay at The Cove was more than what we could’ve hoped for. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Pictures match , the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! Very spacious up to date 2 bedroom suite we had, with the most serene ocean front balconies! Very clean rooms/suites. Comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and welcoming as a whole as well! Would love to shoutout Shaun specifically for his hospitality, and professionalism. He is a true asset to the team and facility! Book here! Also the pool is not available due to construction recovery from hurricane Milton, but you still have access to the beach, which is the sole reason why we came to FL for spring break. If we are ever back in Daytona, this will definitely be our first place looking to book!

All the outdoor amenities shown in pictures were all closed and then I come to find out they're not only closed but another guest informed me they have been closed for almost a year now. When checking in they do not tell you outdoor amenities are shut down until I went to use them and questioned them then they told me they were closed. They charge a daily resort fee and you don't even get to use amenities. They only have beach access from one tower which was not the one we were in which that's fine, but listed was bbq area and equipment, outdoor pool, kids, pool, splash pad, and outdoor deck all of which are all closed. My other complaint is that we specifically got a room with a garden tub and you could not even fill it more than 2 inches without running out of water. They sent maintenance up to look and they basically told us they get that complaint all the time that there was nothing they could do the hot water tank they have installed is not big enough for that. Not only you could not fill up the garden tub, but I've never been to a hotel where you run out of water and have to wait in between people showering.

First problem is that their outdoor pool and patio area is damage. It appears it will not be repaired anytime soon. They advertise the outdoor pool and patio area with pics with no mention on the website that its not usable, kind of deceiving. When you arrive there is a daily resort fee. We have two kids and would have picked another hotel if we knew the outdoor pool was badly damage and not usable. Just be honest....stop ripping people off.

All outdoor areas were closed. Pools was closed BBQ area closed indoor pool was gross and water not balanced also tiny and loud from echo and blaring music. Ramp to beach closed so only access is steps. ( We were in a handicap room and they still failed to mention this after us stating we need an elevator or ground floor .
Another guest told us the we're offering pool use at sister hotel in next town over. (Staff didn't even offer this until we asked but turns out it was to far . Very unhappy since we went from CT to swim in a pool.

Outdoor areas all CLOSED. Pool, kiddy pool,lazy river BBQ area and patio all closed. Only ramp down to beach closed.
We booked a disability access room and discussed this again at check in but we're never told that the only way down to the beach was a narrow set of steps. And all the outdoor space was closed off, although pool had water and was running we were told it was closed for season due to outdoor construction. They offered for us to use pool at a sister hotel in the next town more than a 15 minute drive. Not acceptable for people traveling with small kids . The hotel itself is clean and comfortable but being lied to ruined the entire trip

I paid my deposit on 4/2/2025 and today is 4/22/2025! We checked out 4/6/2025 and there is still a hold on my $200 dollar deposit… I have called and spoken to Shaun SEVERAL times and he has said it was released 4/8@3:18 am but it is still on hold…
