Holiday Inn Express FRISCO LEGACY PARK AREA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Room I was given was not the cleanest. Bathtub not clean/stained. Mini fridge was rusty on the exterior. Bottom of window AC unit was missing Sheetrock and looked moldy.

This motel is worn out, badly needs a complete renovation.

I liked the location. The bathtub was dirty and it was very noisy.

The room looked old, the bathtub was damaged and had hair in it, room was humid feeling and had a musty smell. Bed's felt damp. Had to switch rooms and still wasn't happy.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Upon arrival, everything seemed fine at first glance. However, once we entered our room, things quickly went downhill. We were greeted by a large cockroach crawling on the wall, and the bathtub was visibly dirty. The staff did offer to switch our room, but unfortunately, the conditions in the new room were no better. While the staff was friendly and tried to help, the overall condition of the hotel was unacceptable. We were later informed that the property is undergoing renovations, but this important detail was never disclosed prior to booking. Photos are attached to provide a clearer picture of our experience

The staff were friendly and professional. The location was good. The room were a good size. The walls were thin. The bath needed upgrading due to peeling and drainage. The breakfast was ok. No waffles or pancakes

Didn’t know the hotel was under construction until I arrived.

The rooms inside are very nice and clean. Apart from the rooms, the hotel is dirty on the outside. The elevator dirty. They need to clean it. The TV does not have internet. So you can’t watch Netflix or watch YouTube on the Smart TV. I was super disappointed. I called, but the customer service wasn’t honest in their response. They told me it was something they are working on. But when I spoke with other people in other rooms, they too expressed the same frustration. My disappointment was relieved by the kind words of Stanley, the only receptionist who was kind in his response.

Our room was damp. Walking on the hard floor, you’d literally slip down from the condensation. We tried another room and it was exactly the same. You could see daylight all around the AC unit, I assume letting in 95° air while running 70° AC was the cause of the issue. Bathtub was super stained and didn’t drain well. Beds were clean and comfy and the staff was friendly. Definitely needed some upkeep! The breakfast was good!

Saw a rat outside hotel walking to check in. Hotel was in tough shape. Looked old and beat up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Television didn’t work.

Property was going under renovation. First room the washroom door wasn’t getting locked. Second rooms main door had lock issues. All debris on the floors and inside the lift.

Shower need to fixed, bedding is little bit dirty. Bathroom 2/5 . Thanks

The staff was nice and friendly. Greeted me each time I passed them either on the hall or at the desk. I will definitely be returning

The toilet didn’t flush and the shower constantly dripping

The bathroom was dirty. Had hair on sink and bathtub, back of door looked like somebody was scratching to get out of the door. Tons of dust on top of microwave/ counter and the floor was sticky in the entrance way. Also booked for a 4 people and only had 2 regular soze bath towels.

Diana, a receptionist at 6.30am on 5/9/25, was disgracefully rude and inappropriate for being a customer service. She left a bad impression about the hotel and our stay. I am not sure how the hotel management allows such employee to work in hospitality business. Thank you to the receptionist gentlemen at 2.30 on 5/7/25, however, for being thoughtful.
