Holiday Inn Express HANOVER by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Nice place. Employees were very pleasant. It's what you'd hope and expect. I'd stay there again.

Wonderful staff! Great beds and housekeeping! Awesome breakfast! Walking distance to several restaurants and close to shopping. Only thing was a bit of musty smell from air conditioner. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at a number of Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one was not as good as the others. I do have to say that the staff of the hotel were very nice--no complaints there. But there were some issues.... The exit stairwell nearest our room was blocked with caution tape--we inquired about it and was told it was blocked due to painting, and the hotel is being remodeled. There didn't seem to be much concern regarding the stairwell being blocked---If there was an emergency we would have to go to the other side of the hotel to exit. I understand the need to keep the guests and staff safe during remodeling, but this just did not sit well with me. The breakfast was mediocre at best-- I get that it's free, but it was not nearly up to the standards we have had at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. Our room had a towel laying under the bathroom vanity that had obviously been there awhile. Would I recommend this hotel?,..probably not. Especially since there was another hotel right beside it that was much better. We chose this Holiday Inn Express for the price--but the savings was not worth it.

Nice property. Walls are very thin. Th next room sounded like we were in the same room.

The breakfast was excellent. The woman attending to the breakfast area was kind efficient and kept the food trays/containers fully stocked. 😊

This was my second visit to your hotel, the first being August, 2023. On that visit, I felt that overall, your hotel was one of the nicest places that I have ever stayed. Visited Hanover this August and stayed with you again. Same opinion, a great place to stay. Your parent company should award your hotel, for the hard work of the entire staff.

I attend Gettysburg Bike week every other year. Close enough to the event but far enough for quiet.
