Great location. Room was clean and AC worked well. Staff were friendly. Great view of the bridge and river. Breakfast was very good.

We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the snacks at the front desk, when we returned from our outings, were a sweet surprise especially because we were too busy to eat. We would definitely return and stay here, when we return to Philly

Good location to Olde City

As you can tell by the title, this a follow up to her view I posted back at the end of March. This time I had a room which was on the newly renovated upper floors. The room was SPACIOUS! I could easily have done gymnastics in the space that the room. The bed was comfortable and the renovations turned out really well. I highly recommend if you are traveling with your partner or by yourself to get one of the king rooms. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind (even to people who came in with a sense of entitlement). They had anything I happened to request at various times throughout my stay. I also love that the hotel is just a simple walk away from the Riverlink Ferry which is great if you’re gonna go see a concert in Camden. The only sort of issue was the shower taking longer than usual to heat up but after about a good minute, it would get there.

My wife and enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia - Penns Landing. The location is nice and the breakfast is good. However this past time we were woken up to the sound of water dripping. We went in to the bathroom and the floor had standing water, as water was dripping heavily through the light in the ceiling. Hopefully this was a rare occasion but it makes me wonder about possible molding issues.

The view from my room 605 was Spectacular!! The view of the piers& the bridge unforgettable.

2nd time I’ve stayed here in 2 weeks: first time I stayed the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. The hotel did apologize and refund for the inconvenience. When staying this last time, 2 nights ago; I had to go downstairs once as well as call from my cell phone to the front desk once (phone isn room did not work) to complain about partying noises in the room next to me. They claim they spoke to them both times. Again, at 2am this continued on. Nothing was done. Upon checking out, after having breakfast and half of the food was gone and not replaced, I let the front desk know about my stay. I told them I came back like they had asked me to, to give them a second chance but I would not be back again. I was told, “we’re sorry to see you leave”. I contacted hotels.com to let them know what occurred. They contacted the hotel directly and the hotel refused to give any type of refund. I am baffled by this considering I’ve now stayed twice in 2 weeks and tried to give them a second chance. I do not recommend this hotel. If your not going to take care of your customers, listen to their concerns or even act like you care; why are you in the hospitality business.

Staff were amazing, great customer service. Biggest negative was the noise of construction or work being done on a room near ours at 7am. The only time we get to sleep in is when we travel.

The room smelled musty, the curtains and shower curtain had mold on them, the carpet was not clean and parts of it was sticky. During the day, the construction work was very loud. Overall, this was an uncomfortable stay.

Twice in the middle of the night the alarms went off and we were required to go down 9 flights of stairs. I am disabled. The hotel did give us our money back for the one night.

Everything was cozy and simple. Easy and accessible parking, room was clean and the view was amazing. The area was relaxing and i felt safe sun up and sun down. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Not far from the train station. I have no complaints
