We were at this hotel for four weeks. And it was a very nice place to stay. Housekeeping is friendly and we were asked several times if we needed anything. Always had clean towels. Management did A great job accommodating us. Would definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof Inn, Hometown Suites in Okemos. I stayed here two nights, had hoped to stay an additional night but ended up making the reservation late at night for the third night & didn’t realize I had made it for the older, more run down Red Roof Inn, E Lansing. The extended stay suites in Okemos are more modern, more room, friendlier staff, and have great amenities in the rooms and offer washer/dryer services. The Okemos location is situated near Lot of great food options including Dunkin Donuts.

We were there to drop our kid off at MSU. Laundry on site was so convenient. Mary was an amazing host. She was friendly and eased our worries. It was great having restaurants in walking distance.

The manager was nice and helpful. The pool was broken and the outside patio wasn't available. The toilet took few times to flush. Their was a $50 charge to my card that I wasn't aware of when I booked my stay. I was able to check out at 12 noon instead of 11am with no extra charge.

The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. i wish they had a daily turn down service for trash and towels etc, but overall a nice place to stay. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

A studio hotel as they claim shoul at least have a hot water kettle,tea and cups, silver wares at minimum in the room. But studio does not even a tea cup nor hot water kettle. It was a horrible experience. When I called to ask why not, story was that people stole the a flimsy excuse. I asked why not take inventory before and after each guest comes in and leaves. They chose to punish goid guests for the sins of a few bad ones. What a lazy management and staff!

1st of all , no elevator.. 2 nd I’m handicapped and unable to walk upstairs.. was able to stay in closet room.. everything was broke.. x
No where to sit outside..
Coffee was substandard. And out most of time plus nowhere to sit and enjoy it..

Issues with the water not being hot in several rooms. Either no hot water at all or it got cold before a shower was even half way through.
The front desk staff was very nice however and tried to help best he could. Very patient during check in and with anything that came up! He definitely deserves recognition for being great at his job!

The floors were filthy in our room. And there was no hot water not even enough to wash yourself. You had to take a sponge bath. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Check-in was very confusing when we first got there we had reserved two double beds. They had sold them all out. Wanted us to take a queen that’s not what we reserved. We had to probably put someone else out of their room. But we did get a room. He wanted us to check out this morning and recheck back in because we were staying tonight which made no sense whatsoever

The clerk at the front desk was great. The property is nice, but dated, and it could use some fresh paint and flooring. That said, we were only there overnight and it was great for what we needed.

This hotel offered a quick and easy check-in experience which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.
The room is large and offers a lot of convenient amenities such as a large microwave and fridge, TV with Netflix and easy to use AC.
The few things that could use improvement:
The phone for the room was not connected or working so I had to go to the front desk whenever I needed something. This also prevents the front desk from being able to reach us which is not great.
Another thing to note was that the water from the shower was only able to provide slightly warm water. It was a little bit too cold to have a comfortable shower.
Other than those two points, this hotel offers good value and a lot of convenience.
