Went with my husband and got the king suite. It was a nice size. Could use some art work to make it more homey but the bed was so comfortable and we had a nice view of the city to the Hudson river. The restaurants at the hotel were fabulous. Always delicious. Loved the singing waitstaff at Gayle’s Broadway Rose. The staff were very nice and greeted us whenever we came down to the lobby.

Classic hotel. Rooms are typical for the times square which implies smaller than usual but nicely decorated. The highlight was the staff. From the floor housekeepers to the front desk, to the doorman. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and engaged.

Very happy with our stay! Super convenient and reasonably priced (for Midtown/Times Square). Will definitely consider staying here again. Only gripe: we brought our three children with us and the Signature suite was too small; fine for three nights but any longer and it would have been uncomfortable. We really angled to upgrade to a family suit but they were taken. Perhaps consider more family options?
Staff was superb. Front desk staff made check in/out a breeze. Concierge had all kinds of recommendations. Cleaning staff was awesome.
All around a great experience and value. Thanks for helping us make our first NYC trip as a family so memorable.

Once for starters, we got there they gave us a room and after we checked in, we place our things under the room and we went out for dinner when we came back at 11 at night they have given our our room to someone else are things and belongs in the room and they had us waiting for an hour switch this to one other room that was unclean smaller than what we paid for at 1 AM. The room was not clean and they gave us such a hard time. It was uneventful moment and this was for my wife’s birthday. It was just a horrible experience that I would never want to live again had to go back and find a different hotel to stay for that night at one in the morning never again. So yes, it was a terrible experience horrible hotel staff is not up to part. And needs better training and how to deal with customers at $500 a night for us to get our room taken away and have somebody else inside with our belongings and then they say that it’s not wrong. It’s terrible.

We were in town for some college tours with our daughter. Great location with perfect access to restaurants and Broadway shows. It gets very busy in that area during dinner/showtimes, so allow extra time to get places. The hotel had a great restaurant, fast elevators, comfortable beds and good water pressure. Wish the bathrooms were a little roomier, but I didn’t expect much larger in NYC. It’s no frills, but a cool old building and a good value for the money.

This hotel came highly recommended to us and didn't disappoint. Easily walkable to so many locations: theaters, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, MoMA, Grand Central Station. Loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel which met our needs. Good location, polite staff and clean room. We had an adjoining room which was great with adult children and we were surprised how quiet it was. There was one USB charger in the room. Overall a great base to visit New York

Hotel Edison was perfect for walking to Times Square and broadway shows. It was also nice to be able to leave our bags ($1 per bag) the day we arrived and the day we checked out.

Hotel Edison is located within easy walking distance to Broadway theaters, Time Square, subway stations, and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel Grab and Go breakfast and Bond 25 restaurant were tasty and very convenient. The Rum House bar with nightly live music and the Friday night wine, cheese and live music were also great. This was my 5th stay over 20 years and I highly recommend it!

Hotel’s location was perfect for my special trip for the theatre. It’s also half a block from Time Square. This is an older hotel, which gives a great ambience. The rooms are very small but the bed was comfortable. The hotel’s breakfast rate, location and very friendly staff will keep me coming back. If you are expecting a large new modern hotel, this is not for you. But if you want a taste of old New York plus amazing location, I highly recommend it.
