Hotel The Villa

Only hotelI ever stayed that had no coffee pot. Not in the best part of town.

Good for a cheap and short day (we stayed one night). Very few in room amenities besides an air conditioner, ice bucket, tv, iron, hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, soap and a few hangers. We ordered food which was conveniently delivered to our room. It didn’t come with utensils. We had to walk to the nearest open bodega to get some because the front desk didn’t have which was inconvenient. Cheap but relatively clean stay, would stay here again. It’s about a 10 min walk to the F train.

Maybe the front was quieter. Everything was adequate. Was not wowed but sometimes the essentials are going to be good enough. The remote was disfunctional but managed to connect my Netflix.

It was very nice and clean. However the vendining machines were very lacking and the Ice machine didn't work at all.

Good place in what was like a low economy area

Clean room, professional and helpful staff. Shops nearby and air conditioning. I’d stay again.

Was outside the projects was coming back to the hotel at night a lot of police cars and blood on the sidewalk and a bunch of suspicious activity in the area did not feel safe walking around at night

Everything was good

Fridge in room! (This is great for insulin users) Very clean. Not a lot of options nearby for food, toilet paper (they will not give you another roll!), etc. but Seamless delivers there. A ouple of crazy overpriced and understocked vending machines downstairs but there are tables there where you can eat your own food, & a microwave. Good value overall, would stay again.

Good if you’re desperate for a place to sleep. Really rough area of Queens. The bedding is decent but the floor could use a good mopping. The cleaning ladies are banging and clanging at 7am making it hard to sleep in. The area around the property isn’t good, it’s run down and it’s a far walk to the metro station. Stayed for one night and got an air bnb instead of extending my stay.

I like the size of the room and the room service. I don’t the elevator audible notification. It was hard to sleep when it was busy.

The staff were amazing. Room was clean , only thing didnt like was the area you had to walk through getting to hotel

My husband and I didn’t like this hotel. Bed sheets were cheap blankets had hair stuck in it. we only got 2 small bed pillows for a king size bed. We sleep uncomfortably all night. We would not recommend.

Room: Hair in the towels, dirty toilet. Area: Construction everywhere so dust everywhere Staff: The Indian dude at the reception will demand cash for the "security deposit" but he didn't ask the white woman before us for a security deposit. I guess he asked us because we are Asians. When we checked out, the women at the reception didn't even ask if we paid the security deposit. I am assuming they do that to everyone, hoping that whoever paid for their security deposit will forget about it so they can pocket the money. Do not get scammed by these guys and do not stay here. They also asked us if we wanted to cancel our reservation with Expedia so they can get us a better price if we pay in cash. Conveniently they have an ATM machine at the hotel where they will tell you to take out cash. Do not "redeem" their offer guys, otherwise I will ask you "why did you redeem it".
