From the ease of parking to the clean, fresh entry to the beautiful room, this hotel is one I will absolutely use again if I’m back in the area. Every person I encountered was friendly and helpful; I came utterly depleted mentally and physically but left wholly restored.

We were happy with our stay. The staff was friendly, room and general areas were clean, and the free breakfast was appreciated.
Located near beaches, restaurants, and “things to do” so nothing was a long commute from the hotel.

I have stayed in many hotel chains in my 35 years of work and family travel and this hotel has comfort and value figured out! The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable especially for the price and the kitchen area is very well appointed and also spacious. The room design allows for maximum privacy between the king and the pull out sofa. The pool is very well maintained and the fact that it can be opened to the outside makes it so functional! The bar/restaurant is informal and friendly with a nice happy hour on the weekends. The front desk staff is cheerful and helpful with getting extra bedding, towels, etc. Parking is plentiful and convenient. I will seek this chain out in the future after this experience!

My professional life involved a great deal of travel worldwide. Now that I am retired I bring my experiences in lodging and restaurants to the places where I travel for leisure. This Hyatt in Lewes was a mixed experience. The fundamentals were fine. Upon arrival, we were told that the room was not ready and eventually we were put into a handicapped room which might be part of the problem. Tiny closet, no table, no coffee machine, no kitchenware, no paper or pen. that was disappointing.

Didn't like that the property allowed animals in the room. A dog was left alone in a room down the hall. it howled loudly for over an hour before the owners returned.

Spacious pool and relaxing patio area to enjoy after a workout in the well-equipped gym. Lots of choices for breakfast too with an attentive staff keeping everything filled.

The property looked new and clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was robust with a large eating area. Only issue was the walls seemed really thin. Could hear everything happening in the halls. The air conditioning was also odd. It would stay off until the room got uncomfortably stuffy then eventually kick in to the point you were cold.

What a great getaway for 2 days. We were going to Rehoboth but stayed around downtown Lewes. Staff friendly and the hotel is clean. Cant ask for anything
