La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Luling

The front desk staff was not friendly. We had to ring a bell off and on for 15 minutes and call several times before anyone came up front to greet us. When the staff did greet us she said that she could “see you on the camera but I was putting some laundry in the dryer” then she told me the room I reserved wasn’t ready “because we have been busy and can’t clean all the rooms” - this was at 8pm at night when we were checking in. So she downgraded my room but kept my price the same.

Very clean and nice. Room is clean, spacious. Beds are comfy and clean. Bathroom is great and spacious.

Good value for money but I had a 1 yr old and could not put him down. Carpets were so filthy

Nice place, very convenient

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place was beyond unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, the experience was full of issues. The room was dirty—dust on every surface, stains on the bedding, and a terrible smell that made it feel like the room hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The staff was unhelpful and borderline rude. We raised our concerns, but instead of offering solutions, they brushed us off as if we were the problem. The amenities advertised online simply didn’t exist: no working Wi-Fi, no functioning air conditioning, and the so-called “breakfast” was a stale pastry and lukewarm coffee. Noise levels were unbearable—constant shouting from neighboring rooms and zero soundproofing. We barely got any sleep. Overall, it felt like the management just doesn’t care. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price or the headache.

Nice place to relax after the day in Austin

Amazing experience! My car died on I-10 and the only option was this hotel. It couldn’t have been a better experience. We- one adult, two kids, and a dog- stayed one night. The staff was amazing, helped me calm down, and gave me tips for my car and how to get it home.

Friendly and fast check in. Excellent gym and pool which were great to help finish a day that brought us all across South Texas. The breakfast was fine, but it is across the highway from the worlds largest Buc-cee’s, which is a must stop.

I like that it was quiet and clean. Places where I had to go were not far, though it does seem tucked away. Highly recommend it!
