The room was excellent. It was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean.
It is a 2story hotel but no elevator. Carrying bags up the steps was a little challenging.

Nice place to stay while visiting Radford University. Next door to grocery store, Papa John, and nice chinese take out place. Five minute ride to college with more eating establishment close by. Staff was very polite and courteous. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and waffles for hot breakfast. Comfortable and modern rooms.

Hi. Not so good. Every time ac kicked on sounded like airplane in the room.Bathroom exhaust fan roared so loud we couldn't stand to use it.And entry/ exit door to room stuck and squeaked.Made it practically impossible to be quite for other quest when coming or going.Would not stay there again!

Room was clean , property was clean . Had a musty smell at the entrance and was a little concerned but the smell was only there and not in the halls or room . Breakfast was nothing special but wasn't horrible . Would recommend if visiting Radford University.

This is a decent place. The TV only had one channel in the fitness room (Sci-Fi) and nobody was at the front desk when I looked to see if this could be remedied. The breakfast was the standard fare, but good.
The reason for the low rating was two nights cost almost $600 because there was an "event" in Blacksburg. Since we were paying an "event rate" I was hoping for a little more of "event treatment." They have two floors, but no elevator, so if don't want to lug your stuff up a flight of stairs, ask for a first floor room. But the bed was comfy, the shower was ok and the room space was average.

We were hesitant to book La Quinta after a bad experience at another location, but this location was such a better experience. The location was clean and well kept, the front desk staff were friendly, and this was not too terribly far of a drive when we had a weekend at VA Tech planned. I did not love the continental breakfast at all, and the beds were just o.k. Comfort wise. I would absolutely consider staying here again in a pinch.

Staff was pleasant. I got there very late at night after a long drive. As soon as I settled into my room, the smoke alarm went off and staff said they smelled smoke and one guest admitted to smoking.

Older property which has had some cosmetic upgrades (paint, carpet, etc) but is in need of some capital improvements. Room was clean and quiet with comfortable bed and decent shower. For the price it’s a good value. Note: property is advertised as “pet friendly” but there is NO pet relief area.
