What Guests Say About Their Stay

We had a lovely stay, and everyone working at the lodge were helpful and friendly. Aaron, the front desk supervisor, on the front desk and Brittney at the Lodge Bar were extremely helpful to guests, and really made the stay excellent. Staff were also very helpful considering that I had compromised mobility. There were signs of insufficient staff, which played out in certain ways. But even with the gaps we'd be back.

The Lake Quinault Lodge is in the Olympic National Park and has excellent but somewhat rustic accommodations. The surrounding area is amazingly beautiful. We really enjoyed the Rainforest tour with our guide Ashton. The Lake itself is swimmable — but some might find it chilly and there is a substantial current. Also good for kayaking. Hiking in the area is fantastic.

The dining room is beautiful and my pancakes were delicious. Our room had lake side views and a balony!, In addition to exploring the park the lodge has activities. I would love to spend a week there just taking in the views and relaxing.

My 2nd time staying at Quinault Lodge, and we love the beautiful surroundings. Room 102 isn't ideal because it has a humming noise from something that's running in the floor below. You eventually tune it out, but it's annoying. Comfortable sheets and beds, but there's historical dust behind the head boards that were once nailed to the wall. Overall a good one-night stay this time; will stay longer next time and request a better room, which we couldn't do this time since it was (amazingly) a same-day reservation.

The lodge was very musty, and our room was not very clean. Underneath all the furniture was extremely dirty. It looked like the bed hadnt been pulled away and cleaned in at least a year....very thick dust and grime. The wifi situation was extremely disappointing....having to pay to use more than 90 minutes. For the price of the lodge per night, i definitely wouldnt recommend this stay to anyone i cared about.

offering to see wi-fi upon check in, but then told there is no wi-fi in the area of our room. If we want to use wi-fi, we would need to be in the main lobby to use it. Upon our disappointment, were told it was our mistake for booking in an "historical lodge". One outlet not working and the only table to put the C-pap on was far away - was told they don't give out extension cords. We did finally get an extension cord but it was a struggle. The linens were scratchy, and there was a thick rubber mat over the mattress that just laid loosely. It bunched and wrinkled all night. Receptionist was difficult, rolling her eyes when we asked about the wi-fi or extension cord - but others were receptive. No manager on duty to help resolve the issues and no call back. It was the least comfortable / pleasant hotel of our 6 nights in the area, and the most expensive. I know now there are better options

The 1920’s building brought me back in time. The lobby was cozy and comfortable with a large fireplace. The dinner at the Roosevelt restaurant was delicious, the only disappointment was it was too big to finish.

The scenery was of course beautiful but our sheets were dirty and had holes in them, major dust pile up behind the bed that I noticed when trying to plug my charger in. Called the front desk and all they said was we could go down and get some new sheets that we would have to put on ourselves. When paying $450 a night, I'd expect more

We arrived there very excited to stay in this lovely lodge. When I went inside to the reception area it was sweltering. Over 90 degrees and the people behind the desk were all sweating. I asked what is wrong with the air conditioning? They don’t have any, in fact they had to buy their own little portable fans for behind the desk. I asked if the rooms had air conditioning or fans, or portable fans in them and was informed they do not even though they’ve been asking for them for a long time. We were also informed if you want WiFi you only have it 90 minutes a day and it must be continuous. After that you have to buy it. Great!!! What next? Dinner was a disaster. We asked to try two different wines, they were out of them. We asked for the clams one the one of a few appetizers, they were out of them. Other main courses were out too. I ordered a Caesar salad because they only had a vinaigrette or Caesar salad dressing. It was completely soggy. The pasta dish was overcooked and overdressed with sauce. We ordered lava cake with vanilla ice cream and sauce. They were out of vanilla ice cream. The lava cake should be gooey, but it must’ve been precooked and microwaved. Dry as a bone. Breakfast buffet was a joke, no drinks like juice or coffee included, nor pastries or bread either. Our room registered 81 degrees!! The tv in our room was as grainy a picture as you can possibly imagine. It was overall ridiculous. For nearly $500 a night they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

We stayed in main lodge building our room was on upper level the stairway is very dark and we had trouble seeing going up and down. Highly recommend strip lights. Dinning options limited hours and always a line up at bar and line up for dinning room. The trails around the hotel and rainforest area make up for the shortcomings of hotel. As it’s historic I get that they don’t want to change it much. If we returned I would as for room in boathouse area. The grounds and lake are beautiful.
