Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Renton

Great front desk service, kind, helpful and nice.

We stayed for one night. I was hoping to use the free shuttle but shuttle stopped running at 10pm. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was great! Property and room are bit dated and needs renovation. Breakfast was continental and cold not hot. Moderate options for breakfast and seating is also limited. Area around the property is safe. No nearby restaurants, we ordered food via Doordash. Overall it was an ok stay for the money.

The hotel and room was very clean and nice looking. AC worked well. There was no room cleaning unless you stayed a week or more and you scheduled it in advance. The bed was OK even though iy cratered in the middle. The pillows were terrible, unmatched lumps. Kitchen was stoked with minimum pots, pans, utensils, etc. There was a little dishwasher and ice tray in the freezer so you could make ice. The biggest complaint was the breakfast service. Hardly anything fresh, outside a big bowl of oranges. No protien except a 2 pk of hardboiled eggs in the refrigerator. Everything was prepackaged. Waffles, bagels, hot cereal packets. It appeared that there was a larger choice at the beginning of the week and if things ran out, they were not replaced. Coffee service was in the foyer and you had to tell the desk manager that the coffee/creamer was out and they went to get a new pot. One morning the toaster caught fire and the building had to be evacuated. The Rating shown was Okay, not Good, not Excellent just Okay, at least it was not the worst (needs work). So, pleasant room, lumpy pillows, terrible breakfast and fairly remote from amenities.

I made 1 month in advanced reservation at Lakspur Renton on the day I checked in 8/7-10/2025 I was told that my reservation was no longer available. Lakspur gave away my reservations to another customer. I was very frustrated and upset with the way they treated me and my family. I went to Seattle to attend my son wedding 8/09/2025 We couldn’t find a hotel that’s close to my son’s place. All hotel are fully booked. We finally found one that was really far 25 miles away from Renton.

Everything was good

Was disappointed by the Larkspur Landing hotel. It is in need of an update. Everything is old an obviously over-used. The electrical switch that ran the kitchen and dining area lights shocked my daughter and was smoking! The furniture was all old and very used. The staff was nice. A fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the hotel because someone burnt a piece of toast in the hotel’s old toaster. We won’t be staying there ever again.

Comfortable and clean

Safe, quiet location. Only thing that was bad was the pull-out bed in the living room was very uncomfortable.

Friendly staff!

The staff was wonderful, but the property and my room needs a massive renovation! I been here before but it was 7 years ago. It was decent then, but horrible now.

The Larkspar extended stay was a great place to stay while visiting family. It was comfortable and was great to be able to have a kitchen. Also used the workout room and all equipment was in good working condition. Would recommend this hotel and will come back again. Thank you.

Front Desk Check-In: During my stay, the check-in process was slower than expected, despite two staff members being present at the front desk. I observed that only one person was actively assisting guests, the person was there just chitchatting as if there wasn’t a line, they were also dressed as if going to a basketball game and not proper work attire . The bathtub in my room was clogged with hair and failed to drain properly. Another guest in the lobby reported the same issue. I was informed that the issue would be addressed first thing in the morning, since this was a housing issue . The room carpet was visibly stained and in need of professional cleaning. Additionally, the sofa bed required a new mattress, as the existing one was uncomfortable as you can feel every spring . Upon arrival, the room did not have sufficient linen for the three adults I had indicated during the reservation process. I had to call the front desk to request additional linen, which was later delivered by a staff member. The sign in the laundry room instructed guests to ask the front desk for detergent. However, upon inquiry, I was informed that it was the guest's responsibility to provide their own. I suggest that you either provide detergent for guests or update the signage to reflect the current situation. . while I have enjoyed my stays at your hotel in the past, my recent experience has left me disappointed.

The good - very friendly and helpful staff. Large room well laid out. Good location. Fantastic chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. The not-so-good - old fixtures, tubs and sinks that don't drain well, lights too dim, horrible breakfast. Sort of a run-down place that could use a facelift. My rating would have been lower except for the great reception staff and those amazing cookies.

There was hair on the carpet and I saw a roach on the wall in the kitchenette. The place smells like roach spray and dirty carpet. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And to top it off the staff is not friendly
