Magnuson Hotel Sierra Vista

It wasn't good they charged me $20 for my dog and would only take cash for the deposit and it wasn't refundable or expected since I booked online I thought I was all paid up. While checking in a huge cockroach staggered out of a crevice and slowly died. The room was not clean the bathroom was disgusting I went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathtub toilet sink and floor. The room was so hot that it took over two hours to bring it down to a reasonable temp but never got cool to be comfortable. The owners son lectured me about my dog and that if it made a mess I would have to pay for any extra cleaning or whatever after I already gave them a deposit for my dog who is totally house trained and doesn't mess in the house and she's not destructive. I will never stay there again it was uncomfortable and totally gross and not very accommodating I don't have any photos I should have taken some never thought about it I was too busy being grossed out and cleaning. Just to give you an idea it got up to 104 or hotter yesterday and I was looking forward me and my dog being comfortable in a room and that didn't happen either the room was hotter than it was outside when I walked in I had to leave my car running with a dog and the air conditioning on so she didn't overheat and like I said the room never did cool off to comfortable temperature so it won't be staying there again I'd rather sleep in my car it's cleaner and more comfortable and the air conditioner works.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had we only stayed here because every other hotel was booked, we got the 3 bed room and it was gross, weird stains on the walls, dirty floor, sheets were stained and outdated as well as the towels, the stove didn't work, the utensils in the kitchen were dirty, felt like we were being watched the whole time, will never stay here again

The staff was especially helpful when I had to change my reservations and gave me a full refund for the nights I couldn’t stay!

This place was super dirty I asked for clean sheets they never came to change it the floors were filthy I had to leave to another hotel

Bs I kept asking for 2 beds he played like he didn't have any but yet nobody was staying there he only did that so I could pay for 2 room then he changed the price to rooms every morning wen a queen bed should be be 58$ he took it up to 88$ a king bed was 71 he took it up to 100$ when it's not worth it da queen rooms smelled like mildew the closet has holes all in it and again he refused to let me pay for a two bedroom just so he could get the money off of a two rooms bad for business I stayed at this hotel almost a month and he still was bad for business and they are very rude to customers they harass you at 8:00 in the morning to pay for the room the next day it's just bad for business

Price kept changing on the rooms then after I pay he put dem back down rooms are not worth 100$ at all

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Clean sheets and clean room. Bath tub needs safety strips on the bottom part of the tub, so you don't slip and fall getting in and out...Especially for older people, possible safety hazard!! Thanks kindly for all of your help!! My room had bed bugs. It was a nice room minus bed bugs!

I stay in cheap hotels frequently. This was the first one I walked out of. Terribly dirty room. Floor unswept. Bugs in the toilet. Stained sheets. A chirping smoke alarm. Dingy. Was offered another room but declined.

Good price. It’s hard to find a place to fit my large family of 6.

Room smelled terrible, roaches on the bed, crawling on the dresser and bathtub. Shower head sprayed everywhere, tile lifting in batbroom and the there was dark hair and many many stains on the sheets and pillows. If I had the money to go anywhere se- I would have. The gentleman at the officewas so kind, no fuss about my late check in on a Friday night

When we showed up to the hotel, the gentleman behind the counter was unable to help us check in, had to go and get somebody else which took a few minutes for her to come back. We had already been driving almost 8 hours, and we’re ready to get into our hotel. We booked a hotel with three beds because we had three adults and a 2 year-old. This worked out great for us. The room was huge. The beds were old and springs and they were not comfortable to sleep on. We all woke up sore and hurting. We had an infestation of sugar ants and got into all of our food that we had laying out. There were dirty Q-tips in the windowsills from Lord knows how long they’ve been there When we tried to talk to the owners of the hotel the open sign was on, but nobody was home push the night called button and nobody showed up. We were told that we needed to check out in the morning and drop the keys off, but nobody showed up to let us do that. See the pictures to show our disappointment. Since this was a nonrefundable, we were forced to stay in a dirty, nasty insect infested hotel for two nights. The stove was dirty and looked like it might cause a fire if we used it.

Great comfortableness

Low cost but general condition of property was very rundown. Room was barely big enough for the bed. That was okay except that the noisy air-conditioner was right above the headboard. Everything was clean. Check-in process was pleasant. Perhaps it was owner operated.

The property is old the rooms are small the air conditioner so loud when you turn it on you can't hear anything the toilet seat was broke there's mold in the shower no lice non-smoking room smelled like smoke.
